Nice rental income drop near the end of the season (2022.09.14)

I checked the passive income from my automatic Splinterlands card leasing on Splex.GG. Not good. It dropped below 200 Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) per day in the previous two days. People used to say that the rental prices increase around the end of season. Now probably the opposite happened. The current season ends in 1 days 8 hours, but my rental income is greatly decreased.

The number of my Splinterlands card did not decreased, but their value is decreased.

I am not surprised, to be honest. Probably more and more people stopping playing the game, because it is way too hard. It requires a lot of money, and it is not that rewarding. I expected this. I also have not played the game in the previous seven days.

The current yearly ROA on my card rentals is 25.89%. Splex.GG cut 10%, so it is actually 15.89%. If this keeps this way in long term, then this service is no longer worth it.

We will see, but currently I am thinking about/considering selling my Splinterlands cards, and putting the money into Hive Dollars (HBD) savings for 20% APR interest. Currently I do not have any money in Hive Dollars (HBD) savings, because I keep the funds ready to cash them out in a case of emergency. I mostly finished moving my things to my new home, but who knows what can happen. It is better to expect the unexpected.

By the way, sorry for the lack of activity on the Hive blockchain in the previous few days. I spent more time with real life things. Yesterday (on 2022.09.13) I have not posted, and I have not commented either. I currently do not have much updates about my situation. My smartphone (Samsung Galaxy A12) is currently at an authorized repairer for fixing. I gave it to them yesterday. There is something wrong with its screen lock/power button, and with the touchscreen too. They said that they will fix it in five or in six weekdays, so I have to wait for my smartphone to be fixed.

If I will post photos in the next few days, then I will take those photos with my brother's tablet. Or with other smartphones the friends of my brother have.
