This will be my new project, my idea is to use this post as a kind of diary that will show my evolution in the game, with the goal to reach the highest rank of splinterlands, I know it won't be easy to get there and it will take a long time, but it will be interesting to return to this post in a few months and see how much I advanced in the game.

🚙 MY ROAD 🚙

I always played in silver rank, I liked it because the cards have far fewer skills and was very comfortable, but since the release of the new reward system I started to think higher and get out of the comfort zone, then this season I am playing in Gold League in modern format and aim to one day reach the Champions League 😄, I am playing in this format because I already have enough power to reach the Gold I but it is much more difficult than the wild format, I will learn the techniques of this league and the format, because I will certainly stay long time here 😂.

What do I already have?

Over almost a year playing I have accumulated about 100k power which is enough to play in Gold I, I don't have any cards of expressive value, I have some nice things for the wild format as the angry chicken, a considerable amount of cards from the current rewards and some cards from the Chaos Legions set that I bought or got opening packs, highlighting the legendary dragon Summoner 😍 my best luck in packs so far.

How am I doing in Rank Gold ?

I'm currently on Gold III with a rating of 1,976, it's very difficult to advance, i trying to adapt to the changes of the last update, as no longer has the element of your focus always present in the matches, I have to be prepared for all types of matches, the element death is an example I have few cards of them and several times this was the element that I had to play, so it was an easy victory for my opponent 😂.

Now what will I do?

I will now build a minimum team to play in gold league, with two or three elements maximized to be able to fight on equal terms, meanwhile I will keep buying cards and packs every week, to depend less and less on rentals.

I have not played much these days, and did only 3 quests in the last 7 days, I have to be careful with this because now I am playing in Gold and I can have a good loss if I stay this long without playing.

My rewards of the last 7 days, came even a pack that had a very good legendary inside, adding everything I got a value of $6.04 already discounting the value of the open pack. I was lucky 😍.

💸 SHOPPING 💸

Now that it's starting to get cool, I have to make a better plan for what I'm going to buy, but I will set aside at least $10 a week just to be spent on cards, let's see where this will take me ^^, as I didn't think much about what to buy this week I decided to get something that I'm always using so I bought the famous 0 mana demons, currently I only have 1 of them, the Soul Fiend. Let's buy them 🤑.

These 0 cost cards are amazing, I use them whenever I have space left in my line-up, they can be played in any position, they are targets for opportunitity attacks, are excellent meat shields and some are even powerful with summoner bonuses.

I bought 3 beautiful demons for my collection, blue for $3.39, death for $3.14 and green for $3.24 totaling $9.77, from the demons now only the Scorch Fiend is missing, I thought it would be nice to start with them because they are very useful and sometimes I missed them in matches that I was not prepared for.

I couldn't hold back and bought 1 pack at the market for less than $2 🤣, I think I'll do this every week, I love seeing animation of the pack opening, the sad thing is that buying at the market doesn't count towards the airdrop.
The pack came with 3 rare cards one being the summoner Tarsa. the total value of the pack was $2.62, I will certainly use these cards.

🎊 NEXT STEPS 🎊

I need to analyze my cards, I have a lot of them unused and that could yield a considerable value by renting, I need to plan my next purchases and start entering the tournaments. I think I only participated in 2 in all this game time.

I created a temporary to-do list, I will improve it in the next post😅.

I'll be back next week, I already have better ideas to organize this post and I'll put them into practice from the next one😁.
