El día 05 de julio del 2019 entré, como todos, lo primero que hice fue pagar el acceso, eran 10 usd, afortunadamente la compra te daba el set de cartas beta comunes y raras, no solo un libro de hechizos con cartas fantasmas como ahora, cabe señalar que no tenía idea que estaría comprando mis primeros NFT´s, ni siquiera había escuchado el término que hoy es sinónimo de innumerables debates en las redes. A pesar de que el juego tenia solo unos meses, la verdad es que sentía que ya entraba tarde por que la expansión que se vendía en ese momento eran las Beta y la mini-edición Promo, los paquetes Alpha solo se podían conseguir en el mercado secundario, aún así el concepto se me hizo fascinante algo me dijo que no debía dejar pasar esa oportunidad. A medida que aprendía, cometía también muchos errores, como el gastar el Rate de Captura a mas del 50% sin saber que se regeneraba cada hora, el quemar cartas solo para saber que pasaba, elegir una mala composición de cartas, entre otras cosas, pero lo normal, creo, pero todo era parte de la curva de aprendizaje.

De eso ha pasado mucho, me toco ser parte de los afortunados que recibían solo cartas en las recompensas, de los que podíamos llegar a champions con cartas de bajo nivel, eran tiempos en los que no existían los candados de liga o el poder de colección así que gracias a eso pude lograr algunos puntos champions para el ahora airdrop de SPS, también fui parte del proyecto Othermarker, creo que así se llamaba, donde podían delegarte una cuenta y jugar por porcentajes, así pude capitalizar mejor mi tiempo y logré comprar cartas sin necesidad de invertir mi dinero, logré comprar invocadores beta incluso un Alric Gold Foil level 6 a menos de 15 usd por carta, una locura, estaba claro que era algo que tenía que compartirlo con mi circulo mas cercano de amigos.

El hecho de vender algunas cartas me desmotivó un poco a seguir jugando y sumando que mi trabajo convencional y la música requerían de mi total atención, deje de jugar durante un tiempo, me alejé un poco hasta que conocí el servició de bots de @vcdragon, gracias a su servicio logré darle circulación a ese capital "parado", obviamente la tasa de victorias disminuyó pero los ingresos pasivos eran increíbles y no tenía que dedicarle tiempo mas que a administrar el bot, antes de que pienses lo peor, si, los bots y multicuentas están permitidos hasta ahora en splinterlands, no pasa nada, incluso soy fiel creyente que aunque sea en un porcentaje pequeño esos bots influyeron en que splinterlands llegara a ser lo que es ahora, los usuarios con mas tiempo no me dejaran mentir que antes, lograr hacer un match en duelos tardaba algo de tiempo, los bots le dieron vida al juego, nadie quiere estar en un juego donde no haces match y no puedes jugarlo.
