RE: The Explosion of New Communities is an Opportunity to Earn!

As you said, Now is the time to get in. As more people join these communities earning said tokens will become more difficult since we are all taking from the same token pool.

I plan on sticking to 2/3 main tribes as its impossible to keep up with them all. Great Job with making battle.io one of the top tribes to be apart of.

Fun times for sure! and thanks for the continued support along the way! I can totally see the majority of people gravitating towards a couple main niche tribes, and then using the tags for the general topic tribes on pretty much everything..

Hi @rentmoney

Wouldn't you consider current drop in STEEM partly related to all those new tokens launched on steem-engine? After all people are trading steem to some of those tokens and causing even more selling pressure.

just curious what's your opinion.

Which one did you choose?

Yes, I have considered that. I had that thought the moment I seen so many of these tribes pop up. Once I gave it more thought I came to the conclusion they are not directly responsible for any potential decline in price as all they are doing is creating another token on the platform (every post still gets created on Steem/Steemit that is created on a tribe site). Everyone who is purchasing these tribe tokens needs to do it with Steem or Steemp which means the main currency (STEEM) is still being used.

The only negative affect to the price of STEEM (that I can come up with) that these tribe sites may have is ........ someone is making allot of STEEM from this whole process. IF they are selling that STEEM for something other then other STEEM tokens then that can directly have an affect on price.

Which one did you choose?

Battle.io for all my gaming content / SPT for all things Steem-Monsters/Splinterlands releated. Palnet as it allows me to use its tag on everything. I use some of the other tags from tribes when my content is relevant to that tribe.

Thanks for your prompt reply @rentmoney

Indeed. But they are also building some demand. So let's take me and others as an example: if I want to buy 1000 PAL tokens, then where will I get my funds from? I guarantee that most of the time will come from exactly same source: selling STEEM.

So it does create some extra selling pressure.

The only negative affect to the price of STEEM (that I can come up with) that these tribe sites may have is ........ someone is making allot of STEEM from this whole process.

Oh yeah. That's a good point.

I also wanted to make some suggestion.

My impression is, that the hardest part of attracting attention on STEEMIT is the fact, that our audience have very little chance to actually find our publications. Lack of solid notification system is an obvious issue. And regardless how hard I would try - there is very little chance I would find out about your new interesting publications (my feed is just flooded with to many posts).

Please allow me to share some suggestion with you. If you would ever publish content related to blockchain, crypto, artificial intelligence, psychology etc. then perhaps you could simply send me memo with link to that post.

This way not only I would have a chance to read your publication, drop a comment but I will also `upvote it right away with almost 20k SP voting power (I also have almost 10k PAL tokens, which may give you some extra benefits is you're using PALnet.io)

Please let me know what do you think. This surely should sound like a interesting offer :))

Cheers, Piotr

I agree and I made the suggestion some months back that STEEMIT add a favorites list next to our Following / Followers option. We could use that list for a select few content creators that we like to visit more then others.

I will be sure to memo you anything that I think you may be interested in and you can feel free to do the same to me, thanks for the offer.
