[Part 12] - The journey through Splinterlands: Move DEC out of Splinterlands

So you started playing Splinterlands and got yourself a nice amount of DEC. You now want to use it to rent some card on Peakmonster or CardAuctionz but don't know how? Look no further! Here is a step by step guide on how to convert DEC to Hive:

Step 1: Transfer your Splinterlands DEC to your Hive Account

1. Click the DEC image in the top right of the Splinterlands home screen
2. Select the HIVE ENGINE WALLET
3. Put in your desired amount of DEC you want to move and hit TRANSFER OUT
4. Approve the transaction with your Private Active Key

Step 2: Convert your DEC to SWAP.HIVE

1. Go to hive-engine
2. Login with your Splinterlands credentials
3. Sell your DEC (I always use the Highest Bid as the sell price)

Step 3: Convert your SWAP.HIVE to HIVE

1. Go to hive-engine
2. Click on Wallet
3. Click on WITHDRAW
4. Choose HIVE as the TOKEN TO WITHDRAW
5. Set the amount you want to withdraw
6. Click WITHDRAW HIVE

It might take a couple of minutes until you can see the Hive Tokens in your account. From here you can do whatever you like with them. I usually deposit it to buy or rent cards, but you can also trade it for different Tokens on a variety of exchange platforms.
