The Power Of Books.

If one could put all their greatest life lessons in 200 pages, would you read it?

That's how I feel when I'm reading good self help books. Humans go through a lot of shit at different stages, but books have helped me dodge a lot of problems. One factor is understanding the way money works and how savings aren't really saving you but losing you money. I looked my debt in the eye and made a budget and am slaying it now. Try a budget if you haven't.

Then there's how marketing has evolved overtime. Short term fixes and piling money into advertising doesn't work like it used to. Authenticity and storytelling become the key. The third big takeaway I get from books is the act of giving without wanting anything back. Whether that's value, money, or time - they all fill this void most people never experience because they only want things for themselves.

Books teach you lessons you never encounter. It's powerful stuff. How many books have you read this year?

Forgot to screenshot the final 8 cards but it was nothing special. As the season nears the end, guilds have been announced and it looks like there's already 2 big guilds forming. One that favors champion league players and another for the Koreans. Hopefully there's an Aussie one as I know there's a few strong Splinterland players based in Australia.
