SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge - GELATINOUS CUBE

Splinterlands weekly challenge and this week theme is GELATINOUS CUBE.

And yet again not too much often used card, while Scavenge ability is very interesting in certain game rules sets, and from level 6th it adds healing ability too.
Generally speaking in order to get full advantage of those abilities this card is more likely to be used in a low mana sets with a low life cards involved. In high mana sets with heavy attack power GELATINOUS CUBE may be just eliminated already at first round. Well it still takes a lot of damage at first line, but what we really need is to use its abilities in full

The fight presented today is from 1st level alt account, so we gonna have Scavenge ability only

In a Lost Magic conditions second most strong team here is Death.

Here is final line-up

• GELATINOUS CUBE. High life and Scavenge ability. Could stay in a front line for quite a long...
• UNDEAD PRIEST. Trying to reduce opponents health even more, to get quick advantage on Cube's Scavenge
• CREEPING OOZE. To reduce opponents speed and have advantage to attack first
• TWISTED JESTER. Higher speed and range attack
• DIVINE HEALER. Tank Healing + Slowing opponents monsters and still 1 Magic Attack to be added
• SOUL STORM. Very high range attack and speed (as for 1st level card)
• FURIOUS CHICKEN. To cover back-line

Generally speaking was trying to use this tactic quite in a few matches and in most of cases GELATINOUS CUBE was not so strong against heavy melee attacks with healing abilities of opponents.
But in this case it still worked, while basically got only +1 Life when Chicken got killed at last line, but basically that was enough to eliminate opponents heavy melee tank by second round.
