RE: Coronavirus: The "Cures" Will Be Worse Than the Disease

Excellent observations as always. One thing that stands out for me in the UK's response (and elsewhere for that matter especially in France) is the seeming reluctance to effectively trial chloroquine as a potential preventative treatment.

Well documented clinical trials in China suggest it is effective yet the western world seems slow to act on this evidence. Why? the obvious suggestion is that the powers that shouldn't be are more interested in the sociopolitical use of this crisis for other ends than it's effecteive prevention and treatment.
