Hello!

After having taken a portrait of Ninnu, I thought it might not be too difficult to set up the flash so that I can take my own portrait with it.

I normally take these portraits holding the camera in my right hand, and the flash in the left, but when I tried to take a self-portrait, it became a bit more difficult. So I had to set up the flash somewhere else. This time I used the bookshelf. Maybe I'll invest in a boom stand for the flash one day.

It came out pretty well, wouldn't you think?

In other news, Leo is now complaining of sore throat. I'll need to contact his teacher and the corona-hotline tomorrow. I wonder if he's supposed to go to the corona screening too.

I've been carrying the Fujica SLR with me every day, shooting about 2 photos daily. It's making me think a lot more about what to shoot, since film isn't exactly cheap. A roll of Kodak Tmax400 was 16,50€.

Developing the film will likely cost me double that. Well, I guess home developing is out of question though, it's not like I can set up a darkroom in our cramped home anyway and it might cost me even more.

Anyhow... I'll post more photos tomorrow.
