What an awesome day it has been! I started out here on the Splinterlands Discord where there are over 4,629 members there who are addicted to battling these Monsters like I am! I started off in Steem Monsters AKA Splinterlands giving away packs and cards to new people coming into the game! A year and a half later and Steem Monsters Love is still alive and kicking! The community is one of the best ones I have ever been apart of! I love it here!
We are celebrating today's new player to the game @bakedhaze263 who was in Discord getting new player battling advice from @okean123 who gave him some cards to help out his water splinter so he could get out of the 400 rating and gain a much higher one! Bakedhaze found Splinterlands as he was home from college for Thanksgiving holiday and his friend from high school told him about it. He started battling right away and was pretty good at it too but was stuck around a 400 rating.

Next thing you know @okean123 gave him some water splinter cards and Alric Summoner to help him. Also, @cgturtleman sent him some cards to help too. Then I saw @senstless and @foggybottom delegated him a few cards including a Valnamor Summoner and Ruler of the Seas! I also gave him about $10 or so of water splinter cards and Alric summoners so he could level up to a level 2. His collection as you see in the video went from $$3.30 or so to $13.51!
It feels good to help someone new in the game who is a fellow addict, lol! It is such an incredible game to play and earn and it is fun to see others into it and become a full-blown addict like me! I only play Splinterlands- no other game. I am battling every day and spend hours sometimes all day battling, posting and just talking Monsters! I love this game and the community.
