Time to start a new chapter of my life

Despite the fact that the virus seems to have the world in its grip one more time, daily life can’t be put on a hold forever. And with daily life starting again some chapters in our life are coming to an end, opening the door for new ones. And it seems that I’m at the start of starting a new chapter.

I already said this on my stream last week, but if you weren’t able to catch that, I’ll gladly repeat it here. After spending my whole life in Belgium I’m ready to embark on a new journey. My girlfriend is finishing her PHD in January and already found a research position starting in March, this time in… Finland.

Despite the first shots of adrenaline and joy slowly ebbing away, and the realization of all the things we have to take care of in a short period of time is starting to hit us, we’re still super excited about what’s to come.

I have the luck that I'll be able to work remote from home for the company that I’m currently working for, so that is at least one headache less. And with the increase in popularity that Splinterlands has seen in the last half year, I’m planning to invest some more time into my Twitch streams. But I do have a feeling there are many new hordes to come where we’re not thinking about yet. So if there are any Finns out there that have a few pointers for newcomers, know that it would be much appreciated. Not only how to handle crypto assets, but also just general customs are more than welcome.

Hopefully I’ll be able to integrate well into the country and connect with other Hive, and Splinterlands community members out there
