I've never been one to do alotta lying, my main reason is I can't remember the lies. This is one of the reasons I don't play Texas Holdem poker. I've played it before, but my style of poker playing is usually slow playing. If I have a good hand, I don't bet the max amount until the last two cards. I'd rather keep the other players in the game with small bets, than try to deceive them with max bets. I played poker tonight and was lucky enough to win $77. I really enjoy playing poker with my buddies, I'm just sorry that it's only every other Thursday. I also play a quarter game with my postal buddies about once a month, but I usually lose in that game because the quarters add up quickly. Plus, I stay in more games for a .25¢ a bet, than I do for $3.00 a bet. Try to hug someone this weekend that you've deceived in the past!
