Day-730-Freewrite Sunday Harbor Cruise

I've been on a Gulf of Mexico cruise and a bay fishing cruise, but I've never been on a harbor cruise. I was on vacation when me and a buddy decided to do some bay fishing because we were having no luck pier fishing. We headed to the docks to see what was available and we found a boat that was about to head out to Corpus Christi bay. They were waiting for a few more patrons, so they offered us a last minute two for one special. We fished for about 4 hours and caught a few legal size reds and a young shark. The water was calm in the bay, so it was a very enjoyable trip. I was supposed to go fishing with Debbie's dad when we were up in Nebraska, but we never got around to it. Maybe next time.

I haven't been having any luck with the Splinterlands tournaments so I haven't been increasing my DEC amount. Today my quests were fought with my Water Splinter and I got beat up pretty good. I did get a gold foil reward card, so I'm happy about that.
I like to be out when there are no waves - your bay trip sounds good to me. If there are waves, you don't want to be close to me :)

I was in Corpus quite a few times for the navy and loved that town. The have a great bay, but I did not notice cruises on it. I'm glad you had fun fishing, @wonderwop. Here's the next event :)

Nice! The last time I went fishing in the ocean I got seasick and ended up not enjoying that at all. Oops. Did you keep anything that you caught?
