My suggestion/feedback to the upcoming steemmonsters tournament daily quest
Among the new dailie quests arriving in steemmonsters, a lot of people have complained about tournament quests. Here is my suggestion.
Getting a daily quest like this one as it has been planned would be a nightmare because people's lives rarely allows them dedicate specific hours of their day into tournaments. To most people, it would be an automatic skip.
Instead, how about Implementing tournaments quest but make them secondary and a lot less rewarding, like permanently repeatable side-quests. This would greatly help populate tournaments with actual people instead of just the same few people using multiple accounts.
Maybe give people 50 or 100 dec every 5 tourney battles they participate without surrendering instead of necessarily winning. This will be very attractive to single-account owners which probably is the majority of the playerbase, I'm guessing.
It will be terrible for multiple-account players like me, because going through so many tournament battles are a real time and memory hog. I don't even have time to allocate appropriate teams in half of the accounts. I stopped joining with the 20 heron accounts I manage because it just wasn't worth it.
This is specially acceptable because requiring 5 tournament battles without surrendering means a person will probably have to join more than one tournament to complete it as they would have to last at least 5 rounds.
Most people won't even be able to complete this even once daily, so it could help keep players engaged for a longer time each day without stressing development funds.
Due to it's casual, compelling and rewarding nature, everyone could get in on this quest, not just gold league and above.
Last but not least, this would also encourage them getting into the competitive aspect of steemmonsters, which is healthy for the community and also promotes card buying.

This point is not correct, as all tournaments I know start with best of 3 (their was a very few tournaments with Best of 1, but I think more than 95% of tournaments are Best of 3 in qualification and 1st round) a player who proceed to the next round gains 2 wins, so if you reach the fourth round you fullfill the quest and also if you loose in third round (you play) with 1:2 you have the quest fullfilled.
But if you consider that half of people go out every round you can calculate (ok let's take tournament without qualification round, so with f.e. 64 or 128 players):
If to see to this calculation you see clear that 75% of people won't fullfill their quest with the first win and from next 12,5% of people it's depend if they loose 0:2 or 1:2 in the third round.
So I think, that more than 80% of player will not be able to fullfill quest in one tournament - they should wait for the next tournament.
How long they should wait ?
Ok let's take this moment we are now and look for the tournaments who are for regular cards (you cannot expect that somebody buy goldfoil-cards or alpha-cards only for solving the daily quest) and who are not Diamond Level (as this rule started in gold league and gold league player have to pay entrance fee for all Diamond Level tournaments I think such tournaments cannot count).
The last tournament (regular cards, maximum gold league) was 7 hours ago.
The next tournament (regular cards, maximum gold league) will start in 27 hours.
So their is a difference from 34 hours from one tournament to the next and with this you should fullfill your DAILY (!!!) quest ?
Yes, it's really bad compared to all of the other daily quests.
Yeah, I don't have time to get into a tournament that's in my league. I only play the game once in morning and once in night.
