Will Hive break steems old All Time High? That 2017 feeling is back again, Feel it??
It seems to have that 2017 crypto feeling all over again. Especially now that hive is finding it's stride as it looks set to break a dollar, and outrageous price forecasts don't seem all that unrealistic anymore.
I remember it like it was yesterday, bitcoin breaking $1000 and steem at the time being in the top 10 CMC. The atmosphere was euphoric and the temptation to create another post and potentially make over a thousand dollars had us all posting tirelessly without sleep, sometimes for 24 hours straight. We've all heard stories of ridiculous payouts on posts and comments but was it true?
Here's proof! A couple of my comments from 2017 with a $45 upvote, it was thrilling and astonishing at the time. popular bloggers were making in the thousands!

I think so, but this time it's different, and here's why.
Crypto in 2017 was in its infancy, not yet ready for mainstream adoption. Far too many people knew very little about it and many were told not to trust it. At this point, I think it's clear that crypto, in general, is going mainstream. Because of this, prices are likely to be much more sustainable. Not to say that there won't be a crash but I highly doubt we're going to see another 95% epic crash and 3-year bear market.
Also, if you haven't tried Splinterlands yet I think now is the time to jump in, NFT's are absolutely exploding! IMO Splinterlands is the very best NFT game on the planet. I've been scouring the NFT market for several weeks and I can safely say that nothing else out there comes even remotely close. I've made a ton of money on wax profits from kogs and Streetfighter's but they're just flips. There is absolutely no long-term viability in most, and the ones that might survive aren't nearly as developed as SL. So whether you're a gamer, investor or flipper Splinterlands is where its at right now!
