Steve Aoki, Dillon Francis, and deadmau5 will all be part of the show

Fortnite’s Party Royale mode is already out, but Epic still has a big event planned to celebrate its release. The mode, and its accompanying map, will host the Party Royale Premiere event on Friday, May 8 at 9 p.m. ET. The occasion will feature a live, three-artist back-to-back-to-back show.

The show will include live performances from Dillon Francis, Steve Aoki, and deadmau5. Each artist will have their own distinct set, which will be featured on the Party Royale island’s main stage. The show starts at 9 p.m. ET and is scheduled to go until 10 p.m. ET. Unlike previous in-game shows, players won’t have to queue up specifically for this one, which means you can jump into Party Royale anytime during the show and catch whoever’s performing at the moment.

Fortnite’s Party Royale mode takes the guns and building mechanics out of the game and transports players to a peaceful island that’s just for hanging out. There are plenty of other things to do around the island like skydiving courses and boat races, but the biggest attraction is the massive main stage, which is built specifically for special events like the Party Royale Premiere.

If you happen to miss the show the first time around there will be a rebroadcasted encore on May 9, from 2 p.m. ET to 3 p.m. ET. And just like the original, you’ll be able to jump in anytime during the show to pick up where it’s at.

No Fortnite event would be complete without a cosmetic to go along with it and this one is no exception. Players can get the new Neon Wings Back Bling for free just by logging in anytime from May 8 at 6 p.m. ET to May 11 at 10 a.m. ET.

The starting time for the wings’ availability even gives players a few hours to log in and unlock their wings before the show begins so you can wear them to the Premiere. According to Epic, this new Back Bling is music-reactive which probably means that it shifts and changes color depending on the tunes playing.

This will be the third in-game show that Fortnite has had in as many weeks. Two weeks ago Travis Scott was the star of a massive in-game event. Meanwhile just last week, Jordan Fisher and Diplo hosted the first live show in Party Royale.
