Opportunity to build your deck opens up as value of reward cards drop

I don't actually have any plan to sell my cards at this moment but every now and then, I like to use Peakmonster to check the overall value of my deck. I noticed that my deck value dropped like $40 in value from $610-620 to $570-580 range.

This change in value is as a result of whole scale changes in the price of cards in the market. Close inspection of the different types of cards showed a dip in the valuation of reward cards.

I'm still not sure why this happened, but it doesn't look good for my deck value. everything from normal common monsters to legendary gold foils took a hit.

On the flip side, this also opens up an opportunity to grab these cards at a relatively discounted rate. Cards like lord Arianthus dropped to $6.7 range while the Kraken trades for a mere $1.9. For anybody thinking about building your deck for battling and/or collection power, I think this is a nice opportunity to take a punt.

I'm considering it. If I see any good deal, I'll jump at it. For now, I'm building my collection power organically.

Thanks for sharing! - @cornavirus

Glad you can see the bright side of that dip in value. My deck fell by $500 net worth but that doesn't matter since I am not planning on selling anytime soon. Good advice to buy reward cards now, the beta reward cards give a lot of power!
