Splinterland's DEC soaring so Hodl!!!

Earlier today Splinterland's had its weekly AMA and around that time DEC prices jumped. When I mean jumped I mean it went to all time highs as it surpass two day's ago peak and currently is worth close to $0.003 / DEC. That is three times its parity.

The game has existed for over three years, Splinterlands that is, and now it is soaring in value because the demand is there. While the supply is limited. On the AMA call Aagoerd mentioned that there is about 10k monthly new players and that the rate of the past month in players is approximately 30% in growth of all of the first three years! Onboarding continues to soar and I can see it on discord as many new players are in the general room.

I FOMO into the DEC Rally

To prove my love of the game I went ahead and spent nearly $200 today in card purchases.

One of the cards I have longed for and never seem to have enough DEC at the right time to purchase is Lord Arianthus. With today's DEC jump I took a leap of faith to purchase a level 3 version and several Dice legends. I basically spend nearly $200 in assets for four cards.

With all the purchases I made today I have depleted my DEC assets but increase my deck power. I love Splinterlands and look forward to future upgrades.

DEC going up is making the DEC-BUSD pool my worst ever investment. I'm currently at a 1,427,290 DEC "loss". 😱 😢

Of course I have gained BUSD (1772) and some CUB but given the upcoming SPS airdrop I would have been much better off leaving the DEC in my wallet.

At least I now have a better understanding of how liquidity pools work I suppose. 😁

I know how you feel. I converted about 100k DEC about two months ago into Cub when it was north of $3. If I tried converting it now from Cub back to DEC I get barely 10k DEC 🥲. !LUV and !PIZZA
