Crazy in traditional world, normal in crypto - BTC at $23k - Splinterlands at $5.99mill Marketcap

From breaking barriers, becoming boderless and becoming permisionless, to being censorship resistant and decentralized, it is no doubt what is normal in Crypto is crazy in the traditional world.

Hello crypto heads and Splinter fighters from all over the world, how did your season fare? Well I ended mine on Silver tier 1 and according to my collection power, I could only go as high as gold tier 3, whelps...but the most interesting thing about the season is that I got a bunch of DEC for my Seasons rewards, such like has never happened before, I'm stoked about that to be honest.

Sometimes I just sit down after fighting a couple of battles and I realise that I'm actually earning money for playing a common game, an interesting one at that, then I make projections in my head and think about the possibility on a huge scale, like it is possible for me to build my collection to the point where I can actually earn $100 per day, gaming, mahnnnn....it sounds crazy, but what doesn't sound crazy on crypto.

As crazy as it may sound, there are a bunch of people already living this "crazy". Let me tell you a short story, at the beginning of my journey into Splinterlands, I had a friend who was also as psyched about the game as I was, probably a bit more than me, so while I was powering up Hive, she was converting most of her earnings from writing into buying Splinterlands cards.

Today, her card collection is sitting pretty at over $2k, she battles in the top leagues and if she's still as ferocious as I think/used to be, then she will be earning roughly about $50 weekly, just from playing a f**king game online, with assets worth over $2k. I remember telling someone this sometime ago, he thought I was crazy.

Well, it just happens that I like crazy, 2days ago, Bitcoin was $20k, today, it is ranging around $23k, if anyone had bought $1k worth of Bitcoin 2days ago, such person will be $2k richer today, yes that's my type of crazy, show me anywhere else such thing can happen, and funny enough, we haven't even seen the most of it yet.

Crypto world can seem very crazy when compared to the traditional world. Last night I was pouring myself a cup of tea, I didn't realise that I'd filled my cup with water to the brim and my tea had started to overflow, I was just thinking about all these things.

Today, Splinterlands market cap is sitting pretty at $5.99mil, a huge milestone and all time highs, a very big win for players, card collectors and owners around the world. The game keeps expanding and going mainstream gradually, a one time crazy concept is becoming a living phenomenon. Its really nice to see...
