The Push For More (+Top 5 cards of the season) - Splinterlands

I've underestimated myself for far too long in this whole Splinterlands gaming thing, or better put, I've limited myself for way too long, season after season, getting my ranks above Gold level or at best at Diamond level seemed to be just enough for me. Knowing how difficult it could be to get to those levels, in my mind, getting to the Champion levels was something insurmountable. So I never pushed for more, I was stuck in my little mediocre mind, but after a fellow Splinterlands player @belemo got in and started to fight his way up the ranks, in a fairly short period of time, he reached the Champion levels and began to aim for the top tops.

It sent ripples down my spine and I was challenged, I took this season pretty serious and smashed it through the Diamond levels and found myself on Champion level tier III, I tried so hard to make it to at least Champion level II, but I was knocked out at every turn, however I'm still proud of myself, realizing that I could do it, something I should have done a long time ago, now I'm more gingered than ever to reach Champion level tier I. In the mood of celebrating my little wins, cheers to the latest Splinterlands Champion, myself, cheers to me lads....

The Champion emblem sure looks good on my profile! And I'm going to try as much as possible to maintain the status for as long as I can till I get good enough to begin to compete in the top 100 ranks. The Champion level tier III awards players with 80 loot chests at the end of the season, the highest I've gotten so far was probably 50 loot chests so you must understand my excitement. Before going further into my seasons rewards, I'd like to share my top 5 cards of the season with you.

These cards came in really handy for me during this seasons battle and contributed a lot to getting me to the Champion levels. You could say they are heavy hitters due to their high mana's but they work as far as I'm concerned. I still have issues when it comes to battles with low mana rules, I discovered that a bunch of my cards with low mana were weak and could hardly sustain tough battles in high levels, I must do something about that before I begin the new season to avoid counting too many losses. When it comes to high mana battles, I have a bunch of cards on my deck that fit, however for low mana battles, I find myself quite weak.

For my rewards this season, I got a bunch of potions and DEC more than cards I could write home about, I'm going to be buying packs with the DEC I've been able to accumulate, hopefully opening them with the potions will give me some golds....or legendary golds just the way I like em' you know...lol....
