SPLINTERLANDS MARKET COMPARISONS

THE HISTORY OF OTHER MARKETS

When Splinterlands designed their market system they made it so that 3rd parties could also design interfaces and they would be partners in the underlying system with Splinterlands itself.

I jumped in together with @asgarth and built the most complete market interface and others came and went and splinterlands caught up and developed many tools for their users but many features still only exist on https://peakmonsters.com/

I know that Splinterlands Owners (@aggroed @yabapmatt) want to both have a great market interface of their own AND they want 3rd parties to feel willing and rewarded to create market interfaces and other tools for their game.

In some cases 3rd party websites have created tools that users and owners of splinterlands have desperately wanted even though only Market purchases is one of the only thing that earns money for other websites. And players can be greatly benefitted by those tools found on other sites. And yet the data shows that the simple pop-up mentions of those tools on splinterlands.com does not in reality motivate many users to visit these other sites.

HOW TO BENEFIT OTHER WEBSITES

It's perhaps a hard decision Splinterlands juggles... do they want to be a monopoly for market purchase and make good money through market fees (which is the goal of every business) or do they want other markets to exist taking a part of the market fees but brining in unique features for their userbase and offering decentralization?

IF YES
One possible way to benefit other markets is for Splinterlands to help their userbase to be aware of the different websites both what they offer market wise and some of the other tools that Splinterlands has not and probably will not develop on their site for their users. (because they are focused on other features and because the other sites already did the work for their users)

In short it would be helpful if Splinterlands let their userbase know what other websites can do for them.

So with that in mind I present many hours of research into all the different options of things each of the 3 main sites can do both in markets, blockchain data and card transactions.
It may not be entirely complete but it's pretty close

I have made bold where a website excels over another

THE NEXT STEP

If the Splinterlands team wants to use this data they can do so freely and adapt it and make it easier to understand and make a better graphical version and perhaps simplify it for their audience... but i wanted to make a complete guide.

Great Guide.
I should use PeakMonster's more but its often when I'm actually playing that I feel the need to upgrade a card.
