Hello guys,

Today I am going to share with you few of my battles in @splinterlands. This week's theme is NAGA WARRIOR but I don't have that monster so I will just share few of my more interesting recent battles. I choose SAND WORM as the new theme for these battles.

Edition: REWARD
Rarity: COMMON
Element: NEUTRAL
ATTACK: MELEE
ABILITIES: SNEAK at level 1, SNARE at level 6, PIERCING at level 10.

SAND WORM is neutral monster. This is a monster with melee attack. This card can level up to level 10 but I only have this card at level 2. At this level SAND WORM has melee attack(5), speed(2), health(5). It also has SNEAK ability(attacks the last opponent's monster instead of the first) This card needs 9 mana.

First battle Details:
I played with death splinter.

It was a battle of total 42 mana with two rules:
Heavy Hitters - All monsters have the knock out ability
Odd Ones Out - only monsters with odd mana cost may be used in battles.

Lineup.

I had my MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE level 2, LORD OF DARKNESS level 1, CTHULHU level 1, ANCIENT LICH level 1, SAND WORM level 2, SHADOWY PRESENCE level 1.

And my opponent had his/her cards as TYRUS PALADIUM level 3, WARRIOR OF PEACE level 4, SAND WORM level 4, DIVINE HEALER level 3, TEMPLE PRIEST level 1, SILVERSHIELD SHERIFF level 2 and LONE BOATMAN level 1.

Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.

~I chose the summoner MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE. level 2

This legendary death summoner lowers all enemy ranged attacks by -1, gives Void ability to all friendly monsters, and prevents enemy monsters from healing.This card needs 7 mana.

~LORD OF DARKNESS. level 1

Edition: Alpha and Beta
Rarity: LEGENDARY
Element: Death
Attack: Melee
ABILITIES: Enrage at level 1, Stun at level 2, Shield at level 3 and Retaliate at level 4.

It has one ability at this level which is-
Enrage : Has increased melee attack and speed when damaged
another ability at level 2 is Stun: When a monster with stun hits a targer, it has a chance to stun the target causing it to skip its next turn.
another ability at level 3 is Shield: Reduced damage from melee and ranged attacks.
another ability at level 4 is Retaliate: When hit with a melee attack monsters with Retaliate have a chance of attacking their attacker.

Rarity: LEGENDARY
Element: death
Attack: Magic
ABILITIES: Criple and Flying at level 1, Stun at level , Weaken at level 3 and Last Stand at level 4.

This is a death monster, in this level it has magic attack(3), Speed (1), Health (12).

It has two abilities at this level which are-
Flying : Has increased chance of evading melee or ranged attacks from monsters that don't have Flying ability.
Criple: Each time an monster is hit by a monster with Criple it loses one max health.
Another ability at level 2 is Stun: When a monster with stun hits a targer, it has a chance to stun the target causing it to skip its next turn.
Another ability at level 3 is Weaken: Reduces health of all enemy momsters
Another ability at level 4 is Last Stand: Gains increased stats if it the only monster on the team alive.
This card needs 11 mana.

Element: death
Attack: Magic
ABILITIES: Life leech at level 1, Void at level 2 and Resurrect at level 4.

This is a death monster, in this level it has magic attack(3), Speed (1), Health (3).

It has one ability at this level which are-
Life leech : Monster's health increases each time it damages an enemy monster's health in proportion to the damage dealt.
Another ability at level 2 is Void: Reduced damage from magic attacks.
Another ability at level 4 is Resurrect: When a friendly monster dies it is brought back to life with 1 health. This ability can only trigger once per battle.
This card needs 7 mana.

Attack: Melee
ABILITIES: Sneak at level 1, Snare at level 6, Piercing at level 10.

This is a neutral monster, in this level it has melee attacks (5), Speed (2), Health (5).

It has one ability at this level which is-
Sneak : tacks the last opponent's monster instead of the first.
Another ability at level 6 is Snare: removes the flying ability by attacking flying monsters.
Another ability at level 10 is piercing: does damage to monster's health even if that monster has armor.
This card needs 9 mana.

~SHADOWY PRESENCE. level 1.

Element: death
ABILITIES: Strengthen at level 3 and Inspire at level 6.

This is a death monster, in this level it has Speed (1), Health (4).

Another ability at level 3 is Strengthen: All friendly monsters have increased health.
Another ability at level 6 is Inspire: Gives alll friendly monsters +1 melee attack.
This card needs 1 mana.

On the battlefield.

In the beginning of this battle most of my monsters were targeting my opponent's WARRIOR OF PEACE. My SAND WORM was attacking LONE BOATMAN. And my SHADOWY PRESENCE protected SAND WORM from behind. My opponent's monsters were mostly targeting my LORD OF DARKNESS and SAND WORM was attacking my SHADOWY PRESENCE.

In round 2 enemy snipers were harming my CTHULHU. And opponent's SAND WORM killed my SAND WORM. How is that fair? I wanted it to be one of my main weapons in this battle but it died so soon... Well at least my team destroyed WARRIOR OF PEACE and made SAND WARM less dangerous by pushing it into first position...But still at this time things were not looking good.

In round 3 I destroyed opponent's SAND WORM. But my CTHULHU took a lot of damage so I was still worried about the outcome of this battle.

This round was weird. My CTHULHU started dodging bullets arrows. And my team killed opponent's healer. Maybe this battle is winnable after all?

In round 5 my CTHULHU was STILL DODGING ranged attacks. Stubborn bastard simply refused to die. Also my monsters beat TEMPLE PRIEST. This meant that I won this battle after all because at this point ANCIENT LICH had gained a lot of health and my opponent only had ranged monsters remaining.

At this time my CTHULHU FINALLY FELL. If it would have survived entire battle I would think that it was immortal.

In round 7 at last my remaining team destroyed 2 snipers that my opponent still had. Victory is mine.

In this battle I won 6.374 Dec and 20 League Rating. My strategy worked well- I protected my ANCIENT LICH long enough to claim victory against opponent who was much higher level than I am. But I also was very lucky because my opponent missed multiple ranged attacks on my CTHULHU.

Second battle

I played with earth summoner.

It was a battle of total 99 mana with two rules:
Explosive Weapnary - All monsters have the blast ability.
Stampede - The trample ability can trigger multiple times if the monster is killed.

Lineup.

I had my SCARRED LLAMA MAGE level 1, FLESH GOLEM level 3, NECTAR QUEEN level 3, SPORCERER level 1, KRON THE UNDYING level 1, SAND WORM level 2 and OAKEN BEHEMOTH level 1.

And my opponent had his/her cards as LYANNA NATURA level 1, NECTAR QUEEN level 1, UNICORN MUSTANG level 1, FLESH GOLEM level 1, ELVEN DEFENDER level 1, SAND WORM level 1 and CENTAURI MAGE level 1.

Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.

~I chose the summoner SCARRED LLAMA MAGE. level 1

This legendary earth summoner adds +2 health to all my monsters, grants Last Stand ability to all my monsters and cleanse debuffs from my monster in first position. This card needs 7 mana.

Element: Earth
Attack: Melee
ABILITIES: Heal at level 3, Void at level 7.

This is a earth monster, in this level it has melee attacks (2), Speed (3), Health (9).

It has one ability at this level which is-
Heal : Restortors a portion of monster's health each round.
Another ability at level 7 is Void: Reduced damage from magic attacks
This card needs 6 mana.

Flying : Has increased chance of evading melee or ranged attacks from monsters that don't have Flying ability.
Another ability at level 6 is Retaliate: When hit with a melee attack monsters with Retaliate have a chance of attacking their attacker.
Another ability at level 10 is Poison: Attacks have a chance to apply Poison, which does automatic damage to the target at the beginning of each round after poison is applied.

ABILITIES: Rust at level 1, Silence at level 4, Affliction at level 6.

This is a earth monster, in this level it has magic attacks (2), Speed (1), Health (5)

It has one ability at this level which is-
Rust : Reduces armor of all enemy monsters.
Another ability at level 4 is Silence: Reduces magic attack of all enemy monsters
Another ability at level 6 is Affliction: When a monster with Affliction hits a target, it has a chance of apllying Affliction on the target causing it to be unable to be heald.
This card needs 6 mana.

ABILITIES: Heal at level 1,Divine shield at level 2, Last stand at level 3.

This is a earth monster, in this level it has magic attacks (3), Speed (2), Health (10)

It has one ability at this level which is-
Heal : Restortors a portion of monster's health each round.
Another ability at level 2 is Divine shield: The first time monster takes damage it is ignored.
Another ability at level 3 is Last stand: Gains increased stats if it the only monster on the team alive.
This card needs 10 mana.

ABILITIES: Reach and Void Armor at level 1, Knock Out at level 2, Dodge at level 3, Trample at level 4.

This is a earth monster, in this level it has melee attacks (2),magic attacks(2), Speed (3), Health (9), Armor(2)

It has two abilities at this level which is-
Reach: Melee attack monsters with Reach may attack from second position on the team.
Void Armor: Magic attacks hit this monster's armor before its health.
Another ability at level 3 is Dodge: Has increased chance of evading melee and ranged attacks.
Another ability at level 4 is Trample : When a monster with Trample hits and kills its target, it will performe another attack on the next monster on the enemy team.
This card needs 12 mana.

On the battlefield.

In the beginning of this battle most of my monsters were targeting my opponent's NECTAR QUEEN and doing some damage to UNICORN MUSTANG with Blast. My SAND WORM was attacking CENTAURI MAGE and also damaging SAND WORM. My opponent's team was mostly targeting my FLESH GOLEM. Opponent's SAND WORM was attacking my OAKEN BEHEMOTH. My NECTAR QUEEN also took some damage due to Blast.

In the beginning of round 2 my OAKEN BEHEMOTH killed opponent's NECTAR QUEEN. In this round my SAND WORM also destroyed CENTAURI MAGE and SAND WORM. At this point I already knew that I won this battle. My opponent's team now only had 3 monsters while my team was barely damaged.

In round 3 my team continued to destroy my opponent's monsters. Both FLESH GOLEM and UNICORN MUSTANG fell in this round. My team remained strong.

At this point the only thing standing between me and victory was half dead ELVEN DEFENDER. Beating this monster was just a formality. In the end my entire team survived this battle.

                                  Battle Results

In this battle I won 7.259 Dec and 3 League Rating. This time everything worked in my favor. I was higher level than my opponent and Blast ability worked well together with my high damage dealing team. Especially with Sand Worm and its 5 attack power. This battle was much easier than the other battle I shared in this post. But I think that those domination victories can be fun as well.

Well done on the battlefield.
Sand Worm is a nice neutral monster I just wish id needed little less mana.
