Hello guys,

Today I am going to share with you one of my battles in @splinterlands. This week's theme is NAGA WARRIOR but I don't have that monster so I will just share one my more interesting recent battles. I choose SAND WORM as the new theme for this battle.

Rarity: COMMON
Element: NEUTRAL
ATTACK: MELEE
ABILITIES: SNEAK at level 1, SNARE at level 6, PIERCING at level 10.

SAND WORM is neutral monster. This is a monster with melee attack. This card can level up to level 10 but I only have this card at level 2. At this level SAND WORM has melee attack(5), speed(2), health(5). It also has SNEAK ability(attacks the last opponent's monster instead of the first) This card needs 9 mana.

Battle Details:
I played with water splinter.

It was a battle of total 99 mana with two rules:
Spreading Fury - All monsters have Enrage ability.
Reverse Speed - Monsters with the lowest speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks.

Lineup.

I had my LIR DEEPSWIMMER level 1, TORHILO THE FROZEN level 1, DEMENTED SHARK level 2, SAND WORM level 2, PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS level 1, RULER OF THE SEAS level 1 and SEA MONSTER level 3.

And my opponent had his/her cards as MALRIC INFERNO level 4, ELVEN DEFENDER level 5, MOLTEN OGRE level 4, , SAND WORM level 5, WAR CHAANG level 3, CALADUUM level 2 and CORNEALUS level 2.

Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.

~I chose the summoner LIR DEEPSWIMMER. level 1

This legendary water summoner adds +2 armor to all my monsters, grants Return fire ability to all my monsters and gives all opponent's monsters Blinded effect. This card needs 7 mana.

~TORHILO THE FROZEN. level 1 : WATER MONSTER

Rarity: Epic
Element: Water
Attack: Melee
ABILITIES: Void at level 1, Last stand at level 4, Shatter at level 6.

This is a water monster, in this level it has melee attacks (4), Speed (1), Health (8), Armor(4)

It has one ability at this level which is-
Void : Reduced damage from magic attacks
another ability at level 4 is Last stand: gains increased stats if it's the only monster on the team still alive.
Another ability at level 6 is Shatter: Target's armor is destroyed when hit by an attack from monster with Shatter.
This card needs 9 mana.

~DEMENTED SHARK. level 2 : WATER MONSTER

ABILITIES: Inspire at level 1, Thorns at level 6.

This is a water monster, in this level it has melee attacks (1), Speed (2), Health (6), Armor(1)

It has one ability at this level which is-
Inspire : +1 melee attack to all friendly monsters
Another ability at level 6 is Thorns: When hit with a melee attack, does damage back to the attacker.
This card needs 6 mana.

ABILITIES: Sneak at level 1, Snare at level 6, Piercing at level 10.

This is a neutral monster, in this level it has melee attacks (5), Speed (2), Health (5).

It has one ability at this level which is-
Sneak : tacks the last opponent's monster instead of the first.
Another ability at level 6 is Snare: removes the flying ability by attacking flying monsters.
Another ability at level 10 is piercing: does damage to monster's health even if that monster has armor.
This card needs 9 mana.

~PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS. level 1 : WATER MONSTER

Element: Water
Attack: Magic
ABILITIES: Flying and Dodge at level 1, Demoralize at level 2, Headwinds at level 4.

This is a water monster, in this level it has magic attack(3), Speed (6), Health (7).

It has two abilities at this level which are-
Flying : Has increased chance of evading melee or ranged attacks from monsters that don't have Flying ability.
Dodge: Has increased chance of evading melee and ranged attacks.
Another ability at level 2 is Demoralize: Reduces melee attacks of all enemy monsters
Another ability at level 4 is Headwinds: Reduces ranged attacks of all enemy monsters
This card needs 10 mana.

~RULER OF THE SEAS. level 1 : WATER MONSTER

ABILITIES: Blast at level 1, Swiftness at level 2, Silence at level 3

This is a water monster, in this level it has magic attacks (2), Speed (3), Health (5).

It has one ability at this level which is-
Blast : Does additional damage to Monsters adjacent to the target monster
Another ability at level 2 is Swiftness : All friendly monsters have increased speed.
Another ability at level 3 is Silence: Reduces magic attack of all enemy monsters
This card needs 6 mana.

~ SEA MONSTER. level 3 : WATER MONSTER

Element: Water
Attack: melee
ABILITIES: Heal at level 1, Thorns at level 6.

This is a water monster, in this level it has melee attacks (4), Speed (2), Health ( 9).

It has one ability at this level which is-
Heal: Restores a portion of monsters health each round
Another ability at level 6 is Thorns: When hit with a melee attack, does damage back to the attacker.
This card needs 8 mana.

On the battlefield.

In the beginning of this battle most of my monsters were targeting my opponent's ELVEN DEFENDER. My SEA MONSTER was defending my team from behind and my SAND WORM started attacking CORNEALUS. My opponent's monsters were mostly targeting my TORHILO THE FROZEN. But opponent's SAND WORM was attacking my SEA MONSTER( good luck beating that healing and armor😜)

In the beginning of round two both teams still had all monsters but both tanks were heavily damaged. Even though this battle lasted long I think that I won this battle in this round- My SAND WORM attacked CORNEALUS and was damaged by Thorns ability. Due to battle rules this taken damage increased my SAND WORM'S attack power while it was still well defended. This allowed my SAND WORM to become a lethal weapon in this battle.

In the beginning of round 3 my opponent no longer had his first tank while my team was still full. My tank was barely alive but things were looking better. opponent's SAND WORM was not able to get past my SEA MONSTER. And my SAND WORM now had enough power to finish CORNEALUS while the rest of my team were targeting MOLTEN OGRE.

In the beginning of round 4 my opponent's main weapon( SAND WORM) was no longer a threat because it now was in the first position. Easy target for my mages. And my SAND WORM was still a powerful force.

At this point I lost my DEMENTED SHARK but I was already confident in my victory. I still had many powerful monsters remaining and my opponent's team was barely alive.

CALADUUM was annoying enemy to deal with but his Void ability only prolonged the inevitable end of this battle. This is pretty much all I can say about next few rounds as well so I will not repeat myself.

Finally in the 9 round that bastard CALADUUM fell against my remaining power. Victory is mine.

This was a tournament battle so I did not get either Dec or League Rating. But my strategy worked well- I protected my Sand worm and magic attackers long enough to claim victory against opponent who was much higher level than I am at the moment.
