Kraken The Warrior

Hello my friends, it is a great pleasure here in splinterlands. I can't do without saying 'thank you' @splinterlands team for tremendous work you are doing. This game keeps me busy always, it makes me forget my pain.

This game is like punching bag to me. When some people are not happy, they go to punching bag and started punches it. So also, sometimes when I have serious challenges, I come here to play splinterlands, and after that. I gets ease.
I was really defeated today. Infact, my points dropped drastically because of the serious defeat I suffered from battlers. I stopped the game for some hours and I was still defeated. I wonder what happens to me.

Since I don't have splinterlands card challenge for this week, I decided to talk about "The Kraken" . When I got this card sometimes ago. I don't know how to use it, Hence, I don't use it. Recently I read about it very well, I decided to start using it. It is the one of the best card in water Kingdom.
I never knew it has such amazing abilities. I thought it was only taunt (all enemy Monsters target this monster, if they are able to do). After I checked again, I saw 3 amazing abilities that could make anyone to upgrade it to the highest level.
The first one is Demorize ability: this ability is very unique, it can makes you win battles. It demoralizes all enemy monsters by reducing their melee attack. This type of ability causing some monsters to be useless in the battle. You can get this at level two which you only need 3 kraken.
The second one is Enrage ability: when some monsters are damaged, there melee attack get rudeuced. But when kraken at this level get damaged by monsters, It increases melee attack and speed of kraken. Is so amazing. I love it.
At level 4, it has retaliate ability which allows it to attack any monster with melee attack when hits by it.

BATTLE RULES

Earthquake: Non flying Monsters take 2 melee damage at the end of each round.
Noxious Fumes: All monsters start the Battle poisoned.

BATTLE LINE UP
FURIOUS CHICKEN: To take the first attack from attacking monster of opponent since it would not be useful when placed at the back. If I placed it at the back, it will be destroyed either by earthquake or poison. Therefore, it is good to start the Battle.

THE KRAKEN: I was so scared when I saw the rules of the game because noxious Fumes requires monster that has:
• High number of health to be able to stay longer in the battle
• Monsters with high speed so that it will eliminate enemy Monsters very fast.
• Magic attack since the noxious Fumes attack health directly irrespective of the armor.
• High number of melee, range and magic attack. This will enable the monsters to reduce the number of enemy monsters in a single attack, which will make the monster not to last longer and vulnerable in the battle.
I chose KRAKEN in this battle because of the following listed above. Kraken will stay longer in this kind of battle because of its health, speed and melee attack.
At the second round of this battle after the earthquake and noxious Fumes, when half of the monsters in the battle has been eliminated, kraken still has 9 health. Even the sea monster could not withstood such pressure. Kraken as my attacking monster could not be eliminated in the battle.

SEA MONSTER: I thought Kraken would not be able to withstand such pressure, I chose sea monster as alternative in case if kraken is eliminated. Unfortunately, kraken finished the battle. Nothing could Sea Monster does. It was dormant in this battle.

FIRE ELEMENTAL: I knew the rules will affected my monsters. I decided to chose fire elemental because of increasing health ability. I knew if earthquake and noxious Fumes goes over it, it will have ability to gain more health, which will allowed it to stay longer in the battle.
The second reason was the "range attack" it has high range attack and speed which could destroyed any monster. At second round of the battle; because of its high speed, it eliminated the enemy sea monster. At 3rd round of the battle which was the last round, it was eliminated by noxious poison.

WHAT CAN YOU SAY ABOUT THE KRAKEN? If you want to win a battle with such rules, you need kraken and other Monsters. That is what I did. I have been encountered such rules, most times I won narrowly. sometimes lost woefully.
