Splinterlands Battle - A Battle with NAGA WARRIOR.

I'm attending the weekly battle challenge of splinterlands.
This week's theme is NAGA WARRIOR.

NAGA WARRIOR is a monster of water splinter. This is a monster with melee attack.

This can level up to level 6 but for that I need a summoner of higher level also.
I don't have a summoner that's in higher level so I tried this monster on level 1 with my level 1 earth summoner.

Power: This is a nice card with 2 melee attack, 3 speed, 6 health in level 1.

Abilities: It has an ability named retaliate in level 1 and another ability named enrage in level 4.

Retaliate Ability:
When hit with a melee attack, monsters with retaliate have a chance of attacking their attacker.
This ability can be found at level 1.

Enrage Ability:
Has increased melee attack and speed when damaged.
This ability can be found at level 4.

I played with water monster team.

It was a battle of total 15 mana with one rule and that is-
Standard: No modification to the standard game play rules and mechanics.

ABILITIES: REACH AT LEVEL 1, KNOCK OUT AT LEVEL 5, SNARE AT LEVEL 9.

This is a water monster, in the first level it has melee attacks (2), Speed (3), Health (4).

It has one ability in the 1st level which is-
Reach: Melee attack monsters with this ability can attack from the second position.
And another ability in the fifth level which is-
Knock out: Does double damage when attacking an enemy that is stunned.
And another ability in the ninth level which is-
Snare: When attacking enemies with flying, removes the flying ability and cannot miss.

ICE PIXIE : WATER MONSTER

Element: WATER
ATTACK: MAGIC
ABILITIES: FLYING AT LEVEL 1, SHATTER AT LEVEL 5.

This is a water monster, in the first level it has magic attack (1), Speed (3), Health (1).

It has one ability in the 1st level which is-
Flying: Has an increased chance of evading melee or ranged attacks from monsters who do not have the flying ability.
And another ability in the fifth level which is-
Shatter: Target's armor is destroyed when hit by an attack from monsters with shatter.

FURIOUS CHICKEN: NEUTRAL MONSTER

This is a neutral monster, in the first level it has melee attacks (0), Speed (1), Health (1).

It has one ability in the fifth level which is-
Enrage: Has increased melee attack and speed when damaged.

Battle Details

My Battle

• Round 01
  
  Ice pixie of my team attacked first and that first attack was a success on pit ogre of enemy team. Naga warrior of my team which is the theme monster of this week attacked second it attacked the same pit ogre of enemy team which got attacked first in this round. Elven cutthroat of enemy team attacked third and it attacked furious chicken of my team. That furious chicken of my team got killed after that attack. Wave runner of my team then attacked first time and it attacked pit ogre of enemy team. Then fire beetle of enemy team attacked ice pixie of my team and that ice pixie got killed for that attack. Pit ogre of enemy team attacked for first time this moment after it lost most of its life. But that attack of pit ogre was the bad part for it as after that attack on naga warrior of my team which is theme monster of this week, she attacked back pit ogre with retaliate ability and pit ogre of enemy team got killed. First round got finished like this. Two monsters of my team and one monster of enemy team died in this round.

• Round 02
  
  From beginning of this round both team had two monsters left each where enemy team had only one melee attacking monster that's too with low life and another one was ranged monster. And my team had both melee attacking monsters. Naga warrior of my team which was the theme monster for this week, attacked on elven cutthroat of enemy team and that monster got killed with the single attack. Then fire beetle of enemy team that is a ranged attacking monster it came forward to the front position from where it was unable to attack any monster of my team. Wave runner of my team attacked that monster and that monster lost half of its life. Then the round ended. Only one monster of enemy team died in this round.

• Round 03
  
  Enemy team only had one monster with only 2 life and that is a ranged attacking monster. My team had two monsters where one was naga warrior which is the theme monster of this week and another one is wave runner that has reach ability. Both of my monsters was able to attack from their position but only enemy monster was unable to throw any attack. Naga warrior of my team attacked the enemy monster with 2 melee attack when that enemy monster also had 2 life. So, 2-2=0 happened. Fire beetle of enemy monster got killed.
  The battle ended in this round. Theme monster naga warrior of my team was the one who killed the last monster of enemy team and this theme killed all the monsters of enemy team.

Did my strategy work? What will I try differently next time?

Yes my strategy worked nicely and I might try similar monsters with nice powers next time when I do some battle.
