I Am Become Death, Episode 3 - Splinterlands
The Healer Killers
Death Splinter monsters being bros
Grim Reaper and Undead Archer on their way to deliver some friendly neighbhorhood Affliction
I expected a leveled up Flesh Golem from Earth Splinter for this fight and thought--what a perfect opportunity to combine combine Cthulhu's Cripple with Grim Reaper and Undead Archer's Affliction ability! Cripple lowers enemy max-Health and Affliction stops enemy healing. Of course, I had to throw in some extra muscle for initial chaos of battle and had both Harklaw and The Gorlodon up front.
Here's me and my opponent's line ups, the battle conditions, the summoner and monsters I chose, the start/end of the battle, and the replays.
Summoner - Zintar Mortalis - All enemy monsters have decreased melee damage
1st Position - Harklaw - Shield ability - All enemy melee & range damage toward this monster is reduced
2nd Position - The Gorlodon - Reach ability- This monster can attack from 2nd Position
3rd Position - Cthulhu - Cripple & Flying abilities - Attacks have chance to reduce enemy max Health & increased chance to dodge enemy melee & range attacks
4th Position - Grim Reaper - Affliction ability - Increased chance to remove an enemy's ability to heal after attacking them
5th Position - Undead Archer - Affliction ability - Increased chance to remove an enemy's ability to heal after attacking them
Last Position - Twister Jester - Snipe ability - Target enemy magic and ranged monsters first

Desktop Replay
Mobile ReplayI usually focus on Magic teams when I fight, melee second, and then Range last -- but this battle was a great chance to use Grim Reaper and Undead Archer for what felt like the first time in a while. I think I only bought Undead Archer last week but have forgotten to write a post about him -- I'll add one soon. What I liked most about this battle was taking down Flesh Golem but unfortunately like a recent battle in which I defeated Kron the Undying I did so while they were not paired up with Scarred Llama Mage who turns both cards into near unstoppable juggernauts with their constant healing. Can't wait to make a post where I take down those pairings. It sounds difficult now but I'm sure it'll become more manageable in the future.

I love the title nd the graphics for your post. Pretty cool selection. Your strategy seems sound, and played out well. I wonder how this would work agains life splinter?

Thank you. I try to go for fun images related to the Splinter I'm posting about. Hopefully this strategy also works against Life Splinter's healers. I'll make another post as soon as I get a chance to try that situation out
