Hello Splinterlands Community!
Hope everyone is doing well.
Today we are going to talk about my experience about a battle featuring Supply Runner, the theme card for this week's battle challenge.

ABOUT THE CARD :

Before we talk about the battle, let us briefly talk about the card.

Edition: CHAOS LEGION
Rarity: COMMON
Element: NEUTRAL
Attack: RANGED
Abilities: SwiftnessStrengthen

Chaos Legion has introduced quite a few cards with amazing stats and abilities.
Supply Runner is one of the cards that brings great utility to our deck and I personally use it very often for that reason.
Let's take a look at the stats and then talk a bit more about the stats and utility of the card.

I have the Gold Foil version of the card at level 5 which comes with the ranged damage of 2, speed of 4 which gets buffed up to 5 with the Swiftness ability the card comes with at level 5 and hp of 5.
At the highest level the card also has Strengthen ability making it a solid support card with decent amount of ranged damage.
Since Supply Runner is a neutral card, it goes with any splinter but the card does exceptionally well when teamed with General Sloan with the +1 ranged damage buff.

  Equal Opportunity: All Monsters have the Opportunity ability.
  Equalizer: The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health.

THE HIGHLIGHTS :

• Round 1:

In round 1, Our Shieldbearer took out the Shieldbearer from enemy front line drawing the first blood. However, with the last hit of the round, the Shieldbearer was eliminated by Sand worm.
The battle was evenly poised as both teams lost their tank.

• Round 2:

In round 2, Chain Golem from the opponent's team takes our Djinn Renova.
However, the speed buff from the Supply Runner came in very handy as the Pelacor Arbalest from our back line successfully dodged an attack from Sand Worm. Moreover, before being eliminated, the Djinn Renova too dodged an attack from opponent deck's Pelacor Arbalest.
These dodges certainly gives us hope even though we are now 2 cards down, compared to 1 card from the enemy deck.

• Round 3:

In round 3, our star card Supply Runner eliminates the Chain Golem.
Both teams are now down to last 4 cards.

• Round 4:

In this round, the Venari Crystalsmith takes out Cornealus but we too take a heavy loss as the opponent deck's Pelacor Arbalest takes out ours.
However, the opponent's Pelacor Arbalest could not land it's 2nd attack on our Time Mage, followed by another miss by the Sand Worm.
Looks like the speed debuff by Time Mage and speed buff from Supply Runner is keeping us alive in the battle.

• Round 5:

In this round, the Venari Crystalsmith gets another kill by eliminating the Sand Worm from the enemy front line.
We now have a slight advantage as the Prismologist from opponent's deck can not attack from first position leaving the Pelacor Arbalest as the only attacker whereas, we still have 3 attackers - Time Mage, Supply Runner and Venari Crystalsmith.

• Round 6:

There were no causalities in round 6. However, we get to see another Crucial miss by the Pelacor Arbalest on our Supply Runner.

• Round 7:

In round 7, our Venari Crystalsmith gets another kill under her name taking out
Prismologist from the front position leaving Pelacor Arbalest as the only card in opponent deck. Victory was a matter of time now.

• Round 8:

After round 8, we could deal 8 damage to the Pelacor Arbalest as it's hp was down to 4. Looks like we have to wait for another round for the much awaited victory.

• Round 9:

And rightly so, we got our victory in round 9 and what better way to end the battle as our Supply Runner gets the final kill in the form of Pelacor Arbalest !

DID MY STRATEGY WORK?
Yes, the strategy worked out perfectly as the Supply Runner proved our to be the perfect piece of the puzzle.
The strategy was to slow down the opponent with Time Mage and giving our deck additional speed buff with Supply Runner's Swiftness ability. And the evidence of the strategy working was the numerous misses by the enemy deck throughout the battle.
Though, we were using Supply Runner as a support card, it became the star performer getting 2 important kills in the battle.

Do I like the Supply Runner? Why or why not?
There is no doubt that I very much like Supply Runner, specially at level 5 with the Swiftness ability.
Being the neutral card, it easily finds a place in many of my battles.
And that is the reason I am owning a gold foil level 5 Supply Runner.
