Hi folks! I'm back after missing last week Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge with a very late entry!
In the last days I didn't have much time to play my favorite game, I was working way too much. Still I managed to finish last season in bronze top10, and I was lucky again with pack opening. Generally speaking, I'm quite excited for the new SPS news, this game is costantly evolving and I'm trying to collect and expand my collection the best I can.
This season I will probably be in Bronze top20, still wondering where to play next season.

This week challenge is about a card I personally do not own and I barely use it in battles: Minotaur Warrior.
I began playing @splinterlands in the Untamed era, so I do not own many Alpha/Beta cards. This Minotaur card looks like an "average" card to me: no particular weakness, no particular streghts. Kind of "do it all" card. Let's find a way to use it.

The Minotaurs are the only people in Anumün rugged enough to inhabit the Giant Grasslands of Primordia, where the Dinosaurs roam. They live in wandering tribes, sleeping in hide tents and hunting Rexxies for their meat, clothing and weapons. Minotaur spears are longer than they seem..

MINOTAUR WARRIOR AS AN INVESTMENT

Minotaur Warrior is the cheapest card you can buy from Aplha/beta editions in the Earth Splinter, and generally speaking, one of the cheapest in the game. This means it can be easily upgraded.
This Minotaur come s at around 0.06$/BCX on the market, and, despite not being one the most played card in the game, has quite a solid market. You can see form charts below that when a player wants an upgraded Minoutaur, sales rocket.

My first idea with Minotaur Warrior was to combine it with a very powerful Tank, able to resist a few rounds, in order to keep it going and protecting it. A good opportunity to use it was this low mana cap battle with "Rise of the Commons ruleset". Without powerful epic and legendary card around, it was the perfect situation to test our buddy!

I decided to combine Minotaur Warrior with a tank that can heal himself at a reasonable cost, Flesh Golem, supported by another healing champion, the Wood Nymph. What a perfect couple, guys!
I then used a Screeching Vulture to target directly enemy's weakest creature, and finished with a always useful Furious Chicken at the bottom, to protect the Nymph from enemy's sneak. As a summoner I went with Xander Foxwood: I have it at level 3, and it's chep. That's all I needed.

My idea was to let my tank survive as long as I could, by healing it two times a round, while Minotaur and Vulture could do the rest. You know what? My strategy turned out to work pretty bad, my tank couldn't heal at all from round one. Luckily, the shield of Minotaur helped me a lot, and I was able to win this one!
