Silver Dollar Challenge - Fire Edition

Welcome to Part 3 of my Silver Dollar Challenge! For those who missed part 1, this is a challenge where I've given myself a $1 budget to rent a deck for each faction for the entire month. Each day I'll publish a new splinter leading up to the livestream at 2:30 eastern on Saturday where I'll participate in a Silver tournament to test out my decks (and give away prizes to those who come)!

Today it is time for the Fire splinter! Of course I had to go lock down arguably the best card in the game! Yodin is no doubt going to provide a massive boost, but look at what else I got for only 93 cents for the month!

I love the mana balance I was able to achieve here, but what I really love is Yodin. I immediately see why everyone loves him. That blast ability is nuts! I've had success both in using abilities like snipe/sneak/etc to go around the tank and get to attackers early as well as simply using high damage and going straight through the opponents tank! Caladuum has also carried some matches for me early, and I'm loving the idea of using a magical tank up front, especially when my opponents aren't expecting to see a lot of magical damage.
