I Sunk $150 into splinterlands here's what happened (This post Contains free Cards).

Not for nothing I wanted a deck that could potently be useful in a tournament, This combined with the secondary markets on WAX and the usage of potions has so far Gotten me $450 in Splinterlands legendary Gold cards alone as well as around $180 in profit on WAX and a descent amount of DEC from selling in the in game Market. The Idea is trade off or sell every thing I either dont need at the moment or have duplicates building WAX or DEC from sales purchase another pack or potions.

Selling off the higher price cards most of the time while keeping enough not to effect my Power. While not the easiest thing at first, you need to have a descent collection to do something like this but once you have the entire two packs more or less worth of characters the Idea is to keep rerolling money at the lowest loss per purchase.

Buying packs second hand helps but occasionally I buy them at full price depending on the market and Airdrops. Dice packs I find to be a safer pack to purchase at sticker because it doesn't often come as a deficit due to the limited number of cards in those packs you often get at least one Hero or more which have a higher resale.

Instead of trying to collect Gold foil Cards most the time I will sell them especially the common gold cards.

The cheapest most common cards I combine I use to combine and sell but now just combining all of them.

see those little cards in mass can really pack a punch

As you increase the level by combining them the stats and special abilities increase
while these make no difference in the normal ranked battles in the tournaments you can use them so they are worth building if considering taking part in tournaments.

Potions are worth the purchase I dont open a pack without ten of them to burn gold and legendary wile nearly doubling the cost it pays off I believe without them its almost a waste of time. Quest and mystery potions being the most expensive but the best is the Quest potion in my opinion between the 2.
