Splinterlands | Spineback Wolf Challenge
I initially didn't plan on completing this challenge as the card involved is one that I literally never used before and only have at level 2 on my alt account. Somehow I got in a position where choosing this card on my alt account was one of the most optimal options. This will likely be the first and the last time I probably will have used this monster. As a 2nd position melee card with reach, the Thorns ability at level 5 doesn't really make all too much difference and the health, armor and attack is on the low side for the 5 mana cost. The high speed is the only real thing this card has got going for it.
I was completing a daily quest forcing a Snipe card into the lineup which was the Deasth Elemental, The Chain Golem I use in most matches as the main tank followed by the Haunted Spirit which protects against blast since it is able to self-heal is a nice card to use in 2nd spot on rules where it is able to attack. The extra armor from the Spineback Wolf really helps with the rules of this game and the Phantom Soldier gives some good Magic Damage. I ended the line-up with the Octopider mostly to decrease the melee attack from the opponent his cards.
I was up to a fairly poor opponent who also played way too many ranged attack monsters who can't attack from the first position.

Important: Treat games in the first place as games and not as investment opportunities, Splinterlands allows you to earn some money and get good returns but you are much better off flipping burgers in Mcdonalds when looking at the money earned for the time invested. Investing also comes with a risk of card values going down.
