Splinterlands | Tortisian Fighter Challenge

I only have a handful of cards from the Untamed collection leveled up, the Tortisian Fighter is not one of those as I only have a couple of them at base Level 1. As I'm currently fighting to reach Champions League 1 (reached rank 4695, but dropped a bit back now), I bought 2 Golden Tortisian Fighter Cards which were really cheap (0.39$ each, DEC burn gives 500 DEC) sending it over to my level 3 alt account to complete the quest over there. I leveled the cards up giving them the shield ability which makes it quite strong in matches where Magic is not allowed.

I got quite lucky in the match as the rules only allowed 2 different summoners which from what it looks like, my opponent didn't own. This made the match turn out in a walkover win. The Arlic Stormbringer Water Summoner is without a doubt one of the best in the game and my preferred choice on my alt account. I placed my Golden Furious Chicken in first as a protection against magic damage & the Tortisian Fighter in 2nd place followed by 3 Strong Magic Cards (Prismatic Energy | Spirit Miner | Ruler of Seas) ending the line-up with the 2 mana I had left choosing the Pirate Archer.

It's nice to have another golden card in my collection leveled up even though the only rue set I can see myself using it is when there is no magic and the Dragon Summoner is available to give it a melee attack buff.

Important: Treat games in the first place as games and not as investment opportunities, Splinterlands allows you to earn some money and get good returns but you are much better off flipping burgers in Mcdonalds when looking at the money earned for the time invested.
