Earn DEC in bronze as if you were in gold

Ride the DEC wave

If you've got enough time and experience while playing the Splinterlands crypto game, you can grind DEC in Bronze league as if you were in Gold league. Sure, you're not getting the same season rewards, but if you could all the way up to 2k rating while in bronze, which is not that hard at all, you'll earn 40+ DEC as if you were in gold. It's a shame that we start at rock bottom, but the game does offer us this opportunity, so there's no reason why you'd avoid it.

Then you might think it's not worth it because of the single daily quest chest you're getting, but right now, we need more than 0.75 USD in rentals to keep us at gold league. Prices have drastically increased. Thankfully, a daily quest potion costs only 0.75 USD if you pay for it in credits instead of DEC, turning bronze rewards into as high as Gold II rewards. Sweet!

When aiming sky high in Bronze, you only need a few cards to stay competitive, like a level 2 summoner (specially Mylor) and some bronze meta monsters. Whatever common or rare monster feels strong to you should also work in your own teams without struggling. If you get reward edition cards like Efreet Elder, don't sell them. Level them up to bronze limits first (rares can go to level 2). Get stable before cashing out.

As someone scrambling to stay in Silver right now, this gives a new perspective!

It does take a few extra days to reach a high rating, but it's really worth it in many cases.

Interesting ideas... how do you calculated expected value of quest potion?

I didn't. But any common card is enough to cover over half of its costs. For as long as DEC is this high, how could I not want daily potions? This is one of the tools meant to help PEG DEC at 1k. I spent 130 dollars on these bad boys yesterday.
