Hi Dear - SplinterMates,

For this week's Battle Share Contest Organised by the SplinterLands Team; details can be found @ Weekly Splinterlands Battle Share:: For this week challenge, we have DEFENDER OF TRUTH to be explored. Luckily; I have this monster card at a good level and about it, we will be exploring in this blog post. I strongly feel that Winning or losing battles does not matter. What matters most is how a player is building upon his/her game strategy.

In this post, we will explore LIVE; this monster which is named DEFENDER OF TRUTH; will share my strategy around it and how I'm using this card i.e. its placing position on the battlefield and how often I use the card, and at what level it should work the best for you. At the end of the post, we will also be doing a Cost-Benefit Analysis of this monster card ** DEFENDER OF TRUTH**

A Final Note to keep things simple; talking a bit around the cost-benefit analysis for these cards. Simplicity is the one that is admired by most people & I'm one of them that likes to keep things clean, simple, and straightforward.

How Often I use DEFENDER OF TRUTH LIFE Monster

My answer to this question is that I used it more often. And especially when the rule is that - "No Magic Attack" Now imaging all your monsters getting +2 Sheild/protection when I choose to play with DEFENDER OF TRUTH monster.

I have this Monster card at level 4' with two cards to spare. Frankly speaking and if I was to recommend at what level should a player level up this card. Then my answer would be level 4. If you observe carefully the stats of this DEFENDER OF TRUTH LIFE Monster; you will notice that at level 5 your health of the card decreases by 1 but the Magic attack increases by 1. The same can be observed in the following image::

Check the highlighted rectangles you will notice Magic attack increase by 1 and health decrease by 1 at level 5. Since; I didn't like the health to deteriorate and for that reason, I had left this card at level 4 for the best ROI. No doubt you get an extra magic attack power but I didn't find it worth where I had to comprise the health of the card.

Cost-Benefit Analysis for DEFENDER OF TRUTH Monster

I'll not recommend to max this card for which you will need 46 cards to be combined and it will cost you around $22+

0.50 * 46 = $22+

According to me and my experience in the game level, 4 is the best position considering the cost-benefits analysis of the card. You don't need to directly jump into Maxing DEFENDER OF TRUTH card out. I would recommend first try this Defender card at a lower level i.e. at level 2 and move upwards to level 4 which would require 11 of these cards to be combined and will cost you around $5.5+

0.5 * 11 = $5.5+

Hence try this card at level 2 and if you like it build your card till level 4 and then decide if you want to Max it or Not. As for me; I'm keeping it at level 4 as it works well for me at this position/level.
