Take a Break #3: Just pass the time before the incoming Chaos frenzy

avatar

So, here we are again! I loved to blog about similarities, unfortunately, I didn't receive suggestions in finding examples this time so I searched myself for new characters for my clickbait gallery.

Less than a week until Chaos Legion presale packs open, so I want to help you spend the time during the wait.
I hope you will enjoy my new work, I am really starting to love doing this every week, I used only phantom cards to say "good bye" to them.

Ok, I wrote way too much, I don't want to waste any more of your time, and I don't want to make you lose the best deals on the market, so let's do it quickly, money never sleeps.

Here we go:

1 )The Medusa is a super useful card for newbies like me because Water is probably one the best elements to use in the first phases of the game, I am Italian, from Florence so I used one of the most iconic (and beautiful) mythological Medusa images ever painted, Caravaggio's Medusa head painted on a shield, you can find it at the "Uffizi" museum and if you gain enough money playing Splinterlands, you should definitely come to Italy and visit this wonderful museum.
Grade of Similarity: 6,5/10 I like Splinterland's art, but...I mean...Caravaggio is Caravaggio.

2 ) The Undead Priest, another super useful phantom card, it is a dead element card and a pretty decent choice if you use that element in the game's starting phase. I chose the sarcofagus image because a mummy itself could be a bit scary and disturbing, even if weirdly interesting.
Grade of Similarity: 7/10 The Undead Priest is a bit too scary than the pic I chose.

mummia.jpg

3 ) The Malric Inferno, a red card Summoner, another great beginner choice in battles, he looks like a djiin so let's imagine him with no legs and coming out from a magic lamp, he definitely could be like Jafar as the Evil Djiin from from Disney's Aladdin, they even have the same bracelets.
Grade of Similarity: 9/10 Malric has hotter hair than the almost bold Jafar.

4 ) The Alric Stormbringer, another Summoner but a blue one, he looks skinny and powerful just like a classic fantasy wizard; as a Lord of the Rings fan, I couldn't think of anyone else but Saruman the White, the (SPOILER ALERT) evil wizard who betrays Gandalf and the Ents in the epic novel, played by a marvelous Christopher Lee.
Grade of Similarity: 8/10 Alric is a bit too colorful for my taste.

5 ) The Cave Slug, a situational white card, looks really bad and dangerous, the exact opposite of it's look-alike Slurms MacKenzie, the Slurm's sponsor from the Tv Show "Futurama" , I definitely would have a party with him but probably not with the Cave Slug, too many teeth.
Grade of Similarity: 6,5/10 Cave Slug looks like a party killer, MacKenzie is killed "by the party".

So I finished another look-alike gallery, hope you enjoyed and, as always, I wait for your suggestions if you have enough RC to answer me.
Have a nice Chaos Legion wait.

Best regards,
Mr.Magalli
