Splinterlands Daily Amazing Battle #05

One of my favorite strategies is to try to use as many snipers as possible.

Instead of aiming the tank, the aim in to undermine the opponent's firepower by eliminating his ranged attack cards.

In addition to adding more snipers, another essential factor is choosing the right card to absorb enemy snipers' shots.

The Cornealus card is perfect for this because in addition to Return Fire it has Heal.

I imagine with the new fire summoner that strategy is going to be even more used! Have to level up my Cornelius :)

These battles of yours are most educational for someone slightly lower down the leagues.

Interesting that you both deal with the Earthquake ruleset by shields rather than flying monsters (I mean you practically ignore it).

Corneleus was perfectly placed and that return fire really did do the job. I think I might have to put him higher up my cards to max out list. I think I've only got him up to L2 atm, a very nice card to have.

Although as usual in these battles - that beta legendary (which I'm not prepared to by at its current price!) is absolutely fundamental. I don't have one, but really don't like seeing it, and am always DELIGHTED when I beat a deck with it in.

I'm with you on snipe in higher mana battles btw - play it or don't play it, two tanks and then don't split your attacks, just pound either tank, snipe, sneak or opportunity.

You seem to have a lot of maxed out cards.... I'm interested btw - did you go hard investing your steem for cards when the game was first established?

I was a bit more cautious about vesting in Cards, preferring the Steem/ Hive power, but am also very pleased with my cards Vest - they currently seem to be holding their value very nicely!

Hi! @revisesociology, great considerations! Spirit of the Forest is a key card in the splint of Earth, and I believe it is very worthwhile to invest in it or rent one.

I followed the game from the beginning, although I did not play, I participated in thousands of drawings and won almost 300 cards in these contests, since the launch, this helped me to form the decks later. Even so, I invested a lot buying new cards on the market.
