BEATRIX IRON HAND // Weekly Battle Challenge

(Edited)

Peace Dear Splinters,

Beatrix Iron Hand is the earth elemental card under the light for the weekly battle challenge in Splinterlands. When I understood that this range monster could strike the enemies as far or close to the first position I quickly made a plan to acquire more Beatrix. Therefore I targeted a convenient level for the Beatrix that I could afford to reach and set a market order in the bidding room.

The Arina has two Daria Dragonscale as summoners. The battle rulesets were Spreading Fury and Melee Mayhem. The mana limitation for this match was twenty not as high as I usually like to play but manageable to place skilled monsters on the board.

Epic earth monster from the Untamed series, Beatrix Iron Hand has special abilities like close range, thorn, and cripple when it is leveled up to the sixth ranks of experience.

--

Known for standing her ground despite any odds, this royal daughter detests being called a princess but takes her position very seriously. Beatrix leads the Maglarian defense forces when needed and spends most of her days' training in the ancient boomerang arts of her people. Originally, boomerangs were used to catch unruly mountain goats and other small hillside creatures, but they were elevated to the status of epic weaponry when the Goblins attempted their historic invasion of Maglar, some 200 years ago.

The time has come to present to you the lineup opposed on the battlefield. I have displayed below the details about the match where Beatrix Iron Hand is playing a great role.

The lineup of the cards in the arena

daria_dragonscale.png

Summoner: Daria Dragonscale level 5 | Dragon elemental, All my opponent monsters had melee one additional attack point while the opposite side had no alteration of statistics.

My opponent lineup has positioned cards from the death elemental aligned in the following order:

--

* Lord of Darkness level 3

* Corrupted Pegasus level 3

* Skeleton Assassin level 7

--

Here is a description of my team lineup

Daria Dragonscale level 5 was my summoner associated with earth monsters

* Furious chicken level 5

* Orc Sergeant level 6

* Beatrix Irond hand level 1

--

* Brownie level 4

--

* Creeping Ooze level 7 - Slow

--

* Screeching Vulture level 7

--

The lineup of the two teams was interesting especially when I consider the ruleset of the battle. The match wasn't going to be longer and the outcome was quick.

My strategies

My strategy was to maximize the melee monster strikes and benefit from the speed of my cards to take advantage of the first round. Brownie and Orc sergeant contributed greatly to the speed part. Since all the monsters in my lineup except Beatrix had melee I was attacking at great speed.

image.png

Did my strategy work?

Yes, my melee monsters did great offensive work. When speed and melee are boosted the enemies line fall if no armored monster is present on the board. The match last few rounds with the loss of Beatrix before the ends. The close-range ability of Beatrix allows my time to strike to the enemy Corrupted pegasus. Creeping Ooze slow down my opponent's attacks, the speed boost didn't scare the Corrupted Pegasus on the opposite sides. I mixed 50% of my strikes yet I won the match.

What will I try differently next time?

If a similar ruleset in battle happens to appear one more time I will definitely include in my lineup HobGoblin. These exciting battle rulesets highlighting the power of speed and melee monsters. Beatrix played an important role in this match where it was capable to attack in close-range the enemy's monsters.

Did I like Beatrix Iron Hand? why or why not

I would love to level up Beatrix Iron Hand then find a suitable place for this card in my strategies. My earth summoners can't boost all the ability of the Beatrix, so I am saving more DEC to set up in the bidding market more orders to both summoners and Beatrix. I really appreciate the close-range ability of Beatrix not to turn her as a tank when occupying the first place in the line.

Nice strategy, I like BEATRIX IRON HAND, it was used against me in a battle a while ago, I developed admiration for it and bought it as soon as I could.

Still a level 1 I will definitely look at leveling it up in the future.

Well done on the victory.

Oh yeah! I forgot to comment earlier!

Sir, I am glad this Battle proven woman is on your team! Surely, with such a vicious bite from her blades any enemy would consider running home to mommy!

Let's be friends Dynamichivers.
She has trained enough to defend herself and more innocents.
Don't run to mommy you might have Beatrix right behind discretely following you.

Thanks for sharing! - @mango-juice

spreading fury always favors the melee ones over any other. As it was a melee mayhem as wel,, you did perfect by choosing more melee summoners. The beatrix also did well in the battle. Keep playing splinterlands and post awesome contents.
