Hi @shaidon, I would like to take on the challenge and explain what HIVE represent to me. And to those who are wondering what I am talking about check out @shaidon post here there is a little competition "What does HIVE represent to you?"

"What does HIVE represent to you?"

For me, Hive represent the future. As all of you know the world is constantly changing. Everything is changing and us humans need to follow and adapt to that change because if not we will be left behind. Crypto has been around for ages ( Not that long but after a quick google search BTC investors started in 2009 so... I think it's long enough) but I just started this month (July 2021). And I'm got to be honest with you all even though I'm pretty young and hip, starting in HIVE or crypto is overwhelming.

There are a lot of Technical terms and words I didn't know when I first joined this blockchain. Like the word "HODL" my first though after I read that word is the character Hodor from the hit TV show "Game of Thrones". After I searched for the meaning I am not that far fetched. Hodor got his name and catchphrase because in the show he holds the door (not giving more info because that is spoiler territory). "HODL" or Hold on for dear life is a crypto term to encourage people to not impulsively sell when a cryptocurrency drops dramatically or rises.

HIVE is also composed of all sort of stuffs. It has a Twitter like social media called D.buzz, a blogging community like Hive.blog, Peakd, Ecency, etc. and last but not the least games like Dcity and Splinterlands. Personally I am more invested in Splinterlands because it is fun and have a wonderful community but I'll try to expand my horizon and try other games in HIVE. Because of all of this stuff HIVE for me is also a Community where people interact and make friends. This is where you meet people you wouldn't think you will meet in real life. Like @shaidon he introduce me to HIVE and show me all the basics and to that I am very grateful.

Even though HIVE can be confusing and need some "DYOR" or do your own research in the crypto world, it can be worthwhile. HIVE is the start of my crypto experience. HIVE is a Journey, this is where I will learn new stuff. This maybe a lot of work but I know for sure it will be all worth it. Especially my assets in Splinterlands I have a gut feeling that Splinterlands will be big in the future. Splinterlands will be the next best thing since slice bread. I'm not over hyping Splinterland I just truly love it!
