Splinterlands: Newbie to Rich? ( First day of playing Splinterlands )
This is my first day of playing Splinterlands and first time in blockchain games period. This is also my first blogpost so give some love and please bare my grammar.
At first I'm skeptical about these types of games that you play. What type of games am I talking about you might ask? Games like Splinterlands and Axie Infinity that I think are blockchain games. Personally, I am not the type of person that should be talking about these stuff because I am new in crypto. I just want to try it out because of the hype and boom and Axie Infinity and don't want to be left out.
Enough about the reason I play, lets talk about my experience playing it. My first time playing this game I am so confused because I don't really play card games, my preferred genres of games are shooters. Splinterlands seems complex but it is to get into. Like they said, "Games that are easy to play but hard to master is addicting" ( That is a made up quote... I think). There are different types of cards and strategy to win games but my deck is still the started deck that is given for free. And because my deck is a starter, my builds are experimental and winrate is trash. I mean give me some slack, this is my first day of playing. Also, I'm hardstuck bronze because there is a power limit or something? I don't know really know I'm so confuse. About getting rich, my first day is a slow start but this is expected to these types of games.
If you got some tips for me, please let me know. Tips like builds in novice and lower bronze and monster I should invest to win more I would really appreciate it. Thanks for reading this post. Appreciate y'all

The community is really great. Come to the official Splinterlands Discord server and you will find resources and many active people. We also have weekly AMAs with the founders on there.
You can rent cards for very little and in a few days a totally new renting system will be introduced. Keep your eyes open for that. It will make your start much more effortless and you can test cards.
And of course you can continue to write and earn HIVE and SPT with upvotes. SPT is the Splintertalk token, a HIVE community token that you can sell or stake to get SPT power for upvotes - just like HIVE. You will soon get SPS airdrops (Splintershards, new Splinterlands governance token) for just holding SPT. Much stuff to discover but earning takes place in and without the game.
