My Best Battle Of The Day - Surfing Earthquake & Equalizer with Death!

avatar

Hey everyone! I'm still fairly new to the game (Class of November 2020) , but I wanted to share with you all this battle, which I have come to name: BOTD ("Battle Of The Day"!

As I was finishing the daily quest with Death, I got this environment:

Earthquake + Equalizer!

It was really interesting, as supposedly a battle with Equalizer would be plenty of monsters with very high life, so Earthquake will be less decisive... Also even in the Tips in the game, they tell you that "Sometimes Earthquake is won without flying monsters" , implying that it sometimes is not that important... Well...

So, choosing Death, which is supposedly an aggressive faction, would be even more difficult for me? Well, it worked! 5 complete rounds of pain, a total of 10 damage done to each and every non-flying monster, and I still remain victorious! Here you have my initial deployment:

Surely, that Sandworm in 2nd slot looked menacing, but I was not going to be afraid, as I have the MIGHTY CTHULHU (If you speak about it without caps, you will be chased down at night by Tsathoggua ) which is especially great in Earthquake rounds and with a high-cost match, ofc.

The rest of the lineup of Monsterleague was full Magic, which is a decent deployment with earthquake, but I'm completely in Love with my Summoner Owster Rotwell, which has won more matches for me than... Dunno, almost anyone.

So, after 5 spiked rounds and a myriad of Magic Reflect sparks by Rotwell, all foes were defeated... And it was my last win to get daily so... Extra Happy!

I have pasted the complete match below, just in case you want to look at it and suggest me some tips or some things that you could have made different. Thanks in advance!

@flauwy or @monster-curator is this the type of content that can be useful? I was thinking on sharing some thoughts about the card game as it is evolving, as I'm a Magic the Gathering Brick and Mortar store owner since 1997 and I got quite some experience in how TCGs are born and raised...

Also some market tips... I have basically travelled the world this last 20 years buying and selling singles and sealed MTG and Pokemon product... Of course "not financial advice" haha, because in Crypto everything can morph really quickly... But I think that my next post will cover something like that. Cheers!

I strongly suggest you to look at the currently trending posts on Splintertalk: https://www.splintertalk.io/trending

Those are the currently highest upvoted posts about Splinterlands. One key feature is to add a thumbnail to your post. Right now, it only has a screenshot of battle. After looking at 10,000's of these over the past years, they all look the same to me (and other very likely as well).

The title also looks like something I have seen that many times before and it is difficult to stick out of the masses with that.

Looking at your post directly, it lacks any form of styling. You haven't used any markup whatsover. No bolding, no subtitles, no quotes.

Also, no further images to style your post, whether it is banners, dividers, characters from the game. Here is a selection with graphics: https://peakd.com/spt/@flauwy/free-splinterlands-graphics-i-will-design-for-you

Your ideas for the next posts sound great to me. Make sure that they attract some attention with advices given above.
