99 Mana Battles - Yodin Zaku is Awesome!
I was extremely lucky to get Yodin Zaku in my first ever pack that I purchased a few weeks ago (before they all ran out). It has also been the only pack that I have opened so far - I don't think I will be that lucky again!
Playing with Yodin Zaku is AWESOME. I really enjoy playing with him, but here are two 99 MANA Battles that I played today where I blitzed the opponent without any casualties myself.
Battle 1
My opponent chose Mother Khala from the Life splinter. A decent enough middle line up with a Gold Warrior of Peace, a luminous Eagle, and a Goblin Mech to front the line. I'm not sure why they chose the chicken at the end of the line up though ?!?
I had the Living Lava as my front man (as he can absorb lots of attacks), followed by Fineas Rage with his reach. Then came my ranged monsters with Ettin Spearman, Flamesmith, and Pyromaniac. My tail end was the Sand Worm to try and sneak off those monsters at the end in one fell hit.
The additional ranged attack per monster and blast per monster due to Yodin Zaku was no match for my enemy. Within the first round my opponent was down to two monsters.
I should have won in the second round, but I had a spate of misses from my team. But it didn't take long in the third round to make the final kill and win the game with all my monsters intact.

Battle 2
This battle was slightly different. We couldn't use any Melee monsters.
I eventually went for the Peaceful Giant up front. I thought that he would be able to take some of the initial hits, and I could pick off the opponent with the increased ranged attack and blasts that Yodin Zaku provides.
Just in case the Giant fell down, I used the Naga Fire Wizard in second. He would still then be able to attack in first position unlike the ranged monsters. All of my ranged monsters were next : Flamesmith ; Ettin Spearman ; Pyromaniac ; and Mantoid.
My enemy seemed to struggle with their selection - using only 5 out of 6 spaces and having Creeping Ooze and a Chicken at the end of their line up.
Their Spark Pixies had first attack, but I then retaliated with Pyromaniac who snuck it at the end of the line and wiped out the Chicken and Creeping Ooze in one go.
The Spark Pixies dodged my Flamesmith, but the Naga Fire Wizard was able to deal the death blow for them.
It was all downhill for my opponent then. Their monsters took hit after hit, and I had decimated them by the END of the FIRST ROUND !!!

Wow, you got Yodin from a pack, that’s awesome. My Yodin Zaku is a rental 😬
