Hello everyone I am going to be switching up my post where I giveaway 1000 DEC from a battle recap to a review of the new DICE cards. Until I have gone over all of them. Then I might go back to battles but I am not sure. Anyone with an idea for something new let me know that can count to enter the contest. The other way to get into the contest now is to let me know what you think of any of the cards and if got something wrong or forgot something big. I am going to start with Earth Splinter.

Mylor Crowling is for sure a cool new summoner. That is why I wanted to start with him. He is 3 cost and gives all your cards thorns. That is pretty cool for a lot of game sets. He will be a good card for Super Sneak, Melee Mayhem, also I think he will be fun in No Armor matches. It will be good also in no mana matches. I really play to get this one to at least level 6 so I can try him out in some gold tournaments. I would like to share a battle but only have him at level 2 so far. I am not sure yet what mana levels he will be best in but I am thinking 24 and under. After that, the Legendary guys are going to show up and he isn't going to beat a lot of them. I think he will be really strong in the 15 to 18 range for sure. I am not in a rush to buy this guy because of one factor. These summoners are all 3 costs and with the new stuff coming and 99 mana games, I don't see him being as useful. He will still be a card that will get you an easy win if the person that you are playing isn't ready for him.

Goblin Dartling is an odd little card. It only costs 2 but it never gets more attack. Now a 2 cost card is always nice because you can just toss him in but the earth team has Swamp Thing and if you only have 2 left I think you might go with him. Still, a guy with 6 life for 2 is nice for matches like back to basics or no melee. Shatter is also pretty cool and I guess with knockout out he can do a bit more damage. I know that Earth gets used with Selena and Prince a lot so then he would have 2 attack and then could do 4 with knockout skill. This guy won't be one I try to max out but I will get it to 5 and maybe 7 for that extra speed. Let me know if you think it is better than me.

Oaken Behemoth is the big bad Legendary for the Earth team. The fun part of this set is that all the teams for 12 or 13 mana Legendary monsters. I mean this is just a super strong card. I don't have him yet and at level 1 right away he is pretty strong but max him out and you have a 3 melee and 2 magic attack with 4 armor 11 life and then the armor is void armor, he has dodge, trample, knockout and is a reach monster. For sure this is a great addition for the 99 mana matches and if you have one it might win you the fight. He would be your second tank with all that stuff. I am not sure but I think the magic will make him a sniper target that most snipers can't kill very fast. I will need to see how trample works with magic and melee. If the magic kills a mob do you trample right away with magic or do you complete the attack hit for 3 melee on the next guy and then hit 2 magic followed by 3 melee again? Or is it possible that you can hit 2 magic kill one trample hit 2 magic again then hit 3 melee kill and guy and trampled again to hit the 3 guys with 3 melee. I am not sure and will need to see him in action. @splinterlands did you explain this yet?

The other thing I think all the big guys will be fun to have is the Guild Wars that are coming. I am sure that some of the matches will be high mana. So someone in your guild needs to have these.

Okay so what did I miss? Or what would you like to add? If you took the time you read this thanks.

I do have a winner to send some DEC to from the last post. I am surprised I only get a few entries but here is who won.

What kind of dice? d20's for dnd or d6's for yahtzee. It seems dumb for a CARD game to use DICE. But then again, these retards intoduced their stupid point system as well!

Sorry, you don't like the point system. The dice makes sense to me as a name for packs as you are getting random rewards. The point system was needed to prevent over farming of rewards. If you are a true fan of the game you want it to last so it was needed.

very nice, thanks for sharing this knowledge, so we can get to know the new cards, I believe that a lot of people are still not using them because they don't understand how they work

It is much better to comment about 7 card a team, than imagining all teams where a card can be used. Too much room for mistakes.

Knowing The Kraken, I can tell that you need to learn well when to use Behemoth at its best. The weak is its damage that can be reduced by opponent in two ways, and only 2 damage is slow for healthy opponent monsters. So IMO using its abilities in the right situation is the way to go. I believe that that knock-out could be easily combined with a stun in an earth team.

Cheers!
