UPDATE

I made another one. This one turned out a bit better. I am still having trouble getting a file down to 2MB and looking good.

If you've got any wax laying around why not waste it on this one of a kind NFT.

Trying New Things

Hey everyone. I thought I would jump in to this weeks art contest. Had fun making another NFT... Did not have fun trying to get the thing to export the right way. :( Oh well. You can take a look at the NFT over on AtomicHub. If you're feeling really froggy you can even buy the NFT. It's a one of a kind junker. Hopefully when I get my process figured out I can make some better quality.

The Subject

I chose Beatrix because this was my first card to receive via Airdrop. I got 5 of her last week. I think that the Airdrop is a really cool feature but I don't think that I will be trying so hard to buy as many packs for the next one. Got to keep my spending in check. As some of you know I am just Starting out in Splinterlands and I've made a few impulse buys. Anyway, I think she's a solid card. Still need a few more of her to get her up to Gold fighting shape but from what i've seen on ladder she will fit into the Meta nicely.

The Process

Jump onto the Splinterlands website and downloaded all the SVGs of the splinters from the sites source code.
Converted SVGs to PNGs in Photoshop.
Brought assets into Adobe Elements.
Animated flyins and flyouts.
Added lighting effects and color shifting onto Beatrix.
Exported as Animated GIF
Created NFT Schema in AtomicHub
Uploaded Gif and Minted 1 out of 1.

Higher Res

I wish I could have gotten the higher res to work out for the NFT. I have a lot to learn about making those.

Wrap it Up

Thanks for checking out my post. Good luck to all the other contestants. Have a lucky raffle next week. I plan on working on the wiki if I get any free time and maybe... just maybe getting another video posted. Gone are the days of holiday break where I had nothing but time on my hands.
