Help Feed the SGS Monster Pit!

The Proposal to convert the @ssg-community Splinterlands cards into a fundraiser this week passed with unanimous support from members. That means we are going ahead with the 4 Step plan to get the fundraiser set up and running. At this stage we are hoping to have everything implemented and the initial raffle held so that we can be ready to delegate the cards out for the next season of play which starts in about 2 weeks. Some of the delegation dependencies identified in Step 1 have already been resolved and we’ll try and get that finalised over the next few days, but Step 2 on the list is putting out the Call for Donations for any unused or unwanted Splinterlands cards out there - So let’s get that started!

We do have a bit of an idea of what cards would most help round out the deck we are building. The goal is to build a deck that is capable of competing strongly within the Silver League ruleset and the most important starting place for that is to ensure that we have maximised our Summoner set for that league level. So if you’re keen to help out by donating some cards and have some of these summoners (displayed) lying around, they would be very handy and will probably save us having to go out and buy them.

Because these Summoners are so highly sought after, we are offering 1 FREE Raffle Ticket as a REWARD for every one of these cards (BCX) that is donated to the @ssg-community account. The Raffle Tickets haven’t gone on sale yet, but they will be sold for 5 HIVE each so donating one of these 4 Summoners is a great way to both help the community fundraiser AND get yourself in with a chance of winning the first month delegation prize for the WHOLE deck that we’re building.

There are also plenty of other cards that we need. Every little obscure card that can be donated helps but there are a few others on our shopping list that are pretty cheap to acquire so feel free to drop into our Discord if you want to know more about the cheaper cards we’re after too. Even the little cards all add up so for any other cards that are donated we will give away 1 FREE Raffle Ticket for every $1 USD worth of cards that are donated. Obviously gauging market prices for cards is not an exact science but we will be using peakmonsters.com as a guide and do our best. NOTE - This offer will only be open for 1 week from the time of this post so the best time to donate is NOW.

The SGS community has always been a great supporter of our fundraising efforts for Precious the Silver Mermaid in the past, so we hope the community will continue to get behind @ssg-community and support this initiative too.
