SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! SPINEBACK WOLF

Hello guys,

Today I am going to share with you another battle in which I used SPINEBACK WOLF , to enter the Weekly Challenge - SHARE YOUR BATTLE.

Here's my battle in @splinterlands

A Brief Info About The Match:
This battle had a big mana cap(48) and Lost legendaries rule. I played with death splinter and my opponent also used death splinter against me.

I had my MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE level 1, NIGHTMARE level 2, SPINEBACK WOLF level 1, SAND WORM level 2, SOULSTORM level 1, GRIM REAPER level 1 and OCTOPIDER level 2.

And my opponent had his/her cards as CONTESSA L'AMENT level 1, GELATINOUS CUBE level 1, ELVEN DEFENDER level 1, BONE GOLEM level 1, SAND WORM level 1, GREMLIN BLASTER level 1 and FURIOUS CHICKEN level 1.

Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.

~I chose the summoner MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE. level 1

This legendary death summoner lowers enemies ranged attack by 1, reduces damage from enemies magic attacks by 1 AND prevents opponents team from healing. This card needs 7 mana. ~NIGHTMARE. level 2

I started using this monster just recently. It has great health( 10), good speed(4), melee attack power (2) and Blast ability. This card needs 8 mana. Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

~SPINEBACK WOLF. level 1

High speed(6), melee attack(1), armor(1), health(3). This card needs 5 mana. This monster has Reach ability that allows to attack from the second position. Also this monster and NIGHTMARE protected my main weapons from the frontal attacks. Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

~SAND WORM level 2

This monster has great melee attack(5), low speed(2), decent health(5) and needs 9 mana.It has sneak ability and is great choice for destroying enemies with low health. Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

~SOULSTORM level 1

This flying monster has high ranged attack(3), high speed(5), low health(2). It needs 5 mana. Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

~GRIM REAPER level 1

This monster has high ranged attack(3), low speed(2), low health(3). It needs 6 mana. This monster has Affliction ability. Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

~ OCTOPIDER level 2.

This monster has high ranged attack(3), decent speed(3) and high health(8). It needs 8 mana. Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

On the battlefield.

In this battle my legendary death summoner was completely useless because my opponent had no magic, ranged or healing monsters. And my opponent's summoner was a good counter to my team with a lot of ranged monsters because she lowered my ranged attacks by 1. So at the beginning of battle I thought that I will be in big trouble.

In the beginning of round two I had already destroyed two my opponent's monsters: GELATINOUS CUBE and FURIOUS CHICKEN. At this point my team still had all monsters.

At this point I believed that I will win this battle after all. My opponent only had 3 monsters remaining while I still had most of my team. But I still had to destroy my opponent's SAND WORM because if my attacks had missed a few times that monster could have lead my opponent to come back in this battle.

At this time I knew that I won. I still had 5 monsters and my opponent only had 1 and barely alive. So no miracle could have granted my opponent hope of victory.

By playing this match, I won +6.068 Dec and +32 League Rating.

Normally I don't use SPINEBACK WOLF. But in this battle I had a lot of mana. So I believed that my team will still win. In this battle I was not able to use some of my preferred monsters with high magic attack(ANCIENT LICH and CTHULHU) because of the battle rule.
So instead I used a lot of monsters with high ranged attack. My opponent's summoner made me a bit nervous but in the end I won more easily than I expected. All hail SAND WORM. 😜

Originally I also wanted to add another battle in this post because in that battle my summoner was good counter to my opponent's team and opponent's summoner was useless. I thought that this contrast between two battles would be interesting but in the end I decided that this 1 battle will be enough.
