SPLINTERLANDS: Cluckening Battle Challenge 🐔

The chickens of the Splinterlands have had enough. For too long they have been kept in cages and pens. For too many generations their eggs have been made into omelets, their breasts and thighs into nuggets, and their most pristine feathers into rather tacky jewelry. Under the brave leadership of a great hero known only as The Alpha Chicken, all chicken-kind is finally rising up against their oppressors. This uprising, all across the Splinterlands, is known as the Cluckening.

This week's battle challenge is a card many of us may take for granted, the Furious Chicken. Most players will put it at the back, but I wanted to put it out front for this battle.

The Furious Chicken is probably my most used card. I just noticed that it's my only GOLD card and that it's worth over $40. I remember winning it when it was worth less than a dollar, so I never thought much of it until now.

The whole NFT world is exploding like crazy. I find it all overwhelming. When Bitcoin was almost at 20K back in late 2017, it felt like learning about crypto was like drinking from a fire hose full of scams and crappy ICOs. I feel Splinterlands should be getting a lot more credit for being one of the first legit uses of NFTs. I'm looking forward to the day I write a post about paying my real-world rent with my income from NFT land.
