Bronze League Water Strategy

I'm back Splinter fans!

In the last post, I talked about a strategy for the Death team, but it can only be used in the higher leagues. Today we're going back to the Bronze League!

My goal is to help new players, with ideas for their battles, which won't always work but can be a good guide for certain situations.

Let's talk about an interesting strategic team on the Water splint.

Routinely, when thinking about the Water splint, the first thing that comes to mind is devastating magic attacks, but that's not always the case.

In the battle I'm going to show you, I didn't use any magic attack cards and, you can win with Water on many occasions without relying solely on magic.

The bastion of this idea is to use the Sea Monster card as a tank:

This common card that has the Heal ability, which as we saw earlier is very important in the Bronze League, has high damage of +4 Melee attack, which can be devastating.

Its drawback is that it is rather slow, and in some cases, it can be eliminated before it can heal if the opponent has enough damage and fast cards.

It can be even more effective in the Reverse Speed rule, and also in battles where you cannot use legendary and/or epic cards.

Here we can see his great performance in the ruleset:

Spreading Fury

All Monsters get the Enrage ability.

In this rule, he can become even more powerful, note how his speed and damage increase wondrously when he acquires Enrage:

Has increased Melee attack and Speed when damaged.

Now the other card that is fundamental in this strategy, the Crustacean King:

This is an excellent and very useful card, with only 3 mana it can heal your tank and at its highest levels, it will even acquire the Protect ability which provides armor for all your team members.

Sea Monster + King Crustacean together add healing of 6 hit points by round, so if the total opponent's attacks against the tank add less than 6, there is no way he can kill the Sea Monster.

In this fierce and thrilling battle, I was able to win by a hair, and we can see how a single additional cure from Crustacean King just before he was eliminated made all the difference for the Sea Monster to finish the fight.

For today is this! I will soon come back with more strategic battles tips!

At higher levels I like to triple-up with tank heal from an Albatross too.
