Splinterlands - Season End Rewards (Weekly Post)

For this season I was able to finish at Diamond I to obtain 60 chests. Overall though the cards earned and DEC earned so a little disappointed. I did get several new printed reward cards but not much with just one rare card. I did earn a reasonable amount of DEC for end of season:

What is also of interest is DEC price has free fallen recently so ideal time to add into my card collection is likely best now more than just a few weeks ago. However I am still searching for cards I really want to obtain to boost my overall deck. Cards that will likely be stacked BCXs so I would likely be able to pay less per BCX.

There are also deals in land plots as I saw some go as low as 27 Hives / Plot. Although currently lowest offered is at 45 Hives / Plot. This is likely due to the increase value in Hive that has help allow less Hives to purchase a plot. I have now a total of 6 plots all bought post the introductory discounts a few weeks back. I hope to at least obtain 10 in total before the plots actually become active in game. Not that far off from achieving this goal.

Conclusions

The season to me was not a bust but neither a boom. It is like any other average return for a season ever since rewards got adjusted a while back. I look forward to next season with renewal hope I can hit something better in one of these season chests. For now I will keep playing and earning my daily rewards. Also accumulate DEC to see if I have opportunity to getting higher level cards to enhance my deck.
