MONSTER OF THE DEEP

From the dark depths of the ocean comes a fearsome creature. Not only does the Sea Monster hit hard with its melee attacks, but it also has self heal. At level 6 it even gains thorns, adding a bit of bite to its defence.

The Sea Monster is a Rewards card which is now out of print. It is best played up front as your main tank as it has 4 melee attack at level 1 and you are going to want to take advantage of that. Some cards that pair well with it are the Crustacean King for that extra heal. You will also want hard hitters in your backline. The Ruler of the seas, Mischievous Mermaid and the Water Elemental are all good options.

🃏 CARD SELECTION 🃏

With the rule set being Armoured up and the mana cap set at 24 I chose Alric Stormbringer to lead my team with +1 to magic.
I then placed the Sea Monster as the tank. In second spot I placed my Furious Chicken. ( don’t forget tour chicken ) the chicken is a good buffer card to place behind your tank. This card can really be the difference between winning and defeat.
I just needed some heavy hitters for my backline and the Mischievous Mermaid was perfect for my third card with its magic attack.
I placed the Ruler of the Seas with its blast and swiftness .
Lastly I chose the Pirate Archer as it only costs 2 mana and has blast.It also works as a good buffer card for your Ruler of the Seas incase your opponent uses sneak cards.
For my water battles I use this line up often and win a lot of my games. The Sea Monster is one of my favorite cards and has won me a lot of battles. If you don't have one I strongly recommend you get one.
