Today, this is exactly what happened to me as I made this video....I was consistently tested throughout the entire thing (as you will see), but did I allow it to knock me down? Hell no!

I don't like death quests either as untamed death splinters kinda suck. I reset them and I am willing to do anything besides death. In earth, I almost always use Unicorn Mustang as a tank. I think the void magic, high hp and high attack is just too good to pass up on.

Ha ha I totally get it. The sad thing is when I first started playing Splinterlands, Death was the best splinter for me. Now, while I still do okay occasionally, it transitioned to the Fire or Earth splinters....it probably has to do with my learning curve as well as the changes that occur in the game itself. Eventually, I hope to master all of them...but patience & time will take part in that lol...
The Unicorn is AWESOME when you are the one using it! As you saw in my video, it whipped my arse when it's the opponent doing so hahah...oh well. I will get that Unicorn, maybe with some thorn action & come back, stronger than ever ;)

Actually I think Unicorn Mustang and Mitica Headhunter is a pretty good combo. I use it all the time but newer players won't have access to Mitica Headhunter right away. With 4 ranged attack, 5 speed and 5 HP at level 1, it is a beast of a epic card at level 1 with the snare ability.

I will have to try that combo. I do have both of those cards. I still have my daily quest to do tonight before I retire for the evening. I will let you know.
Yes, as you said, as a newbie, you don't have all the great cards yet! But it is nice to see the slight improvement I have made ever since I started regularly playing & accumulating cards. Leveling up some have helped as well :)

Dude, I deal with this almost every day!! LOL They were just exceptionally loud during the video (when they were quiet right before I hit the record button LOL)...
